PHILIP COWEN GIVES ERASMO CASTRO SAGE ADVICE, AND THEN THE BISD BOARD MAKES A MESS OF EVERYTHING

"BISD Trustee Philip T. Cowen said that as a board member “you live in a glass house,” so it’s important Castro accept responsibility and adopt a “lessons learned” attitude.

When Zach Blevins tried to speak and demand Castro's resignation, BISD stopped him.  At lease one witness claims security was signaled to remove Zach Blevins before he was silenced.  If Zach is blocked on Castro's FB page he as two solid basis for a lawsuit for violating his constitutional rights.

People until the entire BISD Board feels the pressure and public humiliation they will not act against Castro.  A simple AG opinion will show he is a convicted felon and must be removed.  That is how easy it is to end Castro.

This is not about the DWI.  He will get the same slap on the hand as everyone else in Cameron County because our DA does not consider DWI's to be serious.  The fact he refused to prosecute in a case where the victim was declared dead at the scene, spent three weeks in a coma, and a year as a cripple until medicaid kicked in to pay for the surgery tells you just how little Saenz cares about DWIs,  So when the slap on the hand comes, remember Castro got no special treatment he just got a DA who makes light of DWIs.

More to come, checking on something and  then how Mike Hernandez and the Troll are making light of DWI's and all the people killed every year by DWI.s But they have to protect their boy Castro.

BISD VIOLATED THE LAW

The BV did an entire post on new laws.  I have read over 800 new laws, well most of them, some I just scanned.

BISD'S COUNSEL FAILED TO READ THE NEW LAW AS IT RELATES TO ELECTED BODIES - I'M SHOCKED

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Subchapter A, Chapter 551, Government Code, is
amended by adding Section 551.007 to read as follows:
Sec. 551.007.  PUBLIC TESTIMONY. (a)  This section applies
only to a governmental body described by Sections
551.001(3)(B)-(L).
       (b)  A governmental body shall allow each member of the
public who desires to address the body regarding an item on an
agenda for an open meeting of the body to address the body regarding
the item at the meeting before or during the body's consideration of
the item.

I'm dealing with "B" first.  What it means is if a 100 people sign up at Commissioners Court to oppose raises, then they have to allow all 100
people to speak.  They can limit each person to a minute because of the total number of people, but they still have to allow everyone who desires
to speak to speak.

THEY MAY NOT STOP SPEECH AGAINST THE BOARD MEMBERS OR THE BOARD

(e)  A governmental body may not prohibit public criticism of the governmental body, including criticism of any act, omission, policy, procedure, program, or service. This subsection does not apply to public criticism that is otherwise prohibited by law.        SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2019.

A CAVEAT:  The right to speak does not protect you from being sued for defamation.  So speak, but speak with caution.

Zack Blevins has a solid case against whomever stopped him.  It is not clear the Board sanctioned the conduct, but the lawsuit can include an injunction against the Board taking such further action again in the future.

It is best to limit the lawsuit to declaratory and injunction relief so it does not get bogged down in immunity challenges.

MIKE HERNANDEZ SAYS GET OVER RACISM AND THE TROLL SAYS GET OVER THE FACT OUR DA DOES NOTHING ABOUT DWI'S

The troll says "Get over it, is what I say," in regards to DWI's are a reality and nothing is done about them in Cameron County.

Hernandez through his minions are going to protect his puppets even if they are racists and drunks.

This is what they want you to get over.

In Texas, a person is hurt or killed in a vehicular crash involving alcohol about every 20 minutes.3
  • In 2016, 1,438 people were killed in motor vehicle traffic crashes where a driver was under the influence of alcohol, which comprised 38.1% of all vehicular fatalities.

The families will never get over their loss.  But lets be clear, the problem is not Castro, it is DA Saenz who makes light of DWI's  His own family members crippled a man and left him to die.  Saenz made sure they got off with a slap on the hand.

Some lawyer needs to step up and help Zach Blevins sue Castro for blocking him and BISD for violating what is clearly his right to speak out against the Board.  I will not hold my breach that the law is enforced.

Theres a billboard sign on the right hand side of the expressway when your driving to McAllen (mid valley or upper valley area) - I don't recall exactly where it is... it reads something like...

"My Best Fried was killed by a Drunk Driver, I Sue Drunk Drivers"

Signed by a local attorney.. I suggest someone call him.

As to Saenz refusing to do his job the only remedy is a mass protest at the court house. If you are refering to the case I referenced. DPS claimed they gave the blood work to the DA, and would not release the evidence. We had witnesses the bar owner over served the driver, but we had no proof. Saenz made sure of that.

Dam! doesn't anyone with authority in Brownsville have any ethical standards. The people who get voted in office are supposed to have integrity and ethics they think their shenanigans will go unanswered till they meet their maker.D.A has the authority but he covers for some, dude is weak minded. The power of the law should be taken from him he has no standards.

As long as it is a political position, the DA will do politics..

Politicians usually seek money and power - when in reality, they should seek the betterment of their constituents. Sometimes they do, but limit themselves when their career or interests are or will be in jeopardy as a result of their decision.

Also, politicians will often do or call in favors from other politicians in order to climb the political ladder. This is scary and absurd when the politician is supposed to enforce the law - calling in a favor to a law enforcement politicians will 100% mean, circumvent the law.

If I were to circumvent the law, I would do jail time or pay a fine... No one should be above the law.

I follow the law to the best of my ability and knowledge of the law, I don't want to go to jail or spend money on fines. - for those who know the law better than I do, and circumvent it, I say to them.. fuck you.

There is s petition on change.org to help get him out. He chose to run to be Board Member and unlike anyone else lives for social media and attention. Power got to his head and acts like he is above the law. Hes got no real responsibility but Facebook.

Your comment is rejected as a con. In every such post I say something similar to what I said here "I will not hold my breach that the law is enforced." So it is clear your entire post is to make trouble. Not playing, move on.

Thats all he is, social media, and a vote for whoever created the miracle of getting him elected. As a drunk driver that he is - he put his life and the life of others at risk of injury or death, including many BISD students, teacher and faculty who are out having a social life at the same time he was.. only he was caught being irresponsible... tough shit.
