CT SCAN VERIFIES THE BRAIN SURGERY EITHER FAILED OR THE VALVE IS IMPROPERLY SET

The news is I am cleared to return to SA and do not have to see the local brain surgeon again.  The San Antonio surgeon has reviewed the read and will have the disc in the morning.  It will go UPS today.

As a precautionary matter I have been given an appointment for October 9.  We are just basically holding the date.  The SA doctor once he reviews the scan can order an immediate appointment.

The primary option is to drain 40-50 cc's of cerebral fluid through my spine.  Experience teaches us I will get immediate relief.  He then tries to reset the valve to 90 where I was feeling better.  The change to 200 was an honest mistake.

If he agrees to the spinal  tap and the valve adjustment and the headaches come back in 3 weeks, then we know the shunt has failed and he has to redo the surgery.

I hate being right.  Since April I have been dealing with this for no reason.

If he does just the adjustment it can take 3 months to get me back to normal.

I'm so down.
