BROWNSVILLE OFFICIALLY UNDER WARNING FROM TROPICAL STORM FERNAND

Since the last update the upper part of the storm has moved further north, thereby bringing Brownsville into the warning.  It is also moving faster.  Instead of landfall between midnight and one a.m. Thursday we are due for a possible hit as early as 7 p.m. Wednesday.

I can only speak for my area, but parts of my backyard are already under water.  Flooding is going to be the problem with this storm.  My house is very elevated so the house is safe.  It is just the yard which goes under water.

Time to battle down the hatches.  If you have brush out front move it or tie it down, it can easily fly right back into your windows.

Tropical Storm Fernand, without the "O." It isn't Tropical Storm Fernando.
