BETO SAYS ABSOLUTELY NO TO RUNNING AGAINST JOHN CORNYN

After a national call for Beto and other Democratic candidates to pull out of the presidential race and instead run for the senate, Beto finally came out and said absolutely no.  This was after another candidate pulled out and announced he is considering a senate run.

The problem:  There are  three really running to be the VP nominee.  It is believed Beto can deliver Texas to the Democrats.  This makes him a good VP candidate.  But the other issue is the Democrats need to take the Senate.  Beto can easily beat John Cornyn and turn Texas Blue.  I do not believe any of the three running for U.S. Senate as democrats can beat John Cornyn.  Beto O'Rourke staying in the race for the VP nom is selfish and not putting the best interests of the people first.  Defeating John Cornyn is not a challenge for Beto.  This helps the Democrats  take back the Senate.  It will be another 4 years before anyone can challenge Ted Cruz again.

The money people need to make it known to Beto, U.S. Senate or nothing.  He needs to be told he will not be considered for VP.

NOW THAT BETO O'ROURKE HAS MADE IT CLEAR HE WILL NOT SEEK THE SENATE, JULIAN CASTRO NEEDS TO LEAVE HIS PRESIDENTIAL RACE AND CHALLENGE JOHN CORNYN

Again, Castro is running for VP.  The changing dynamics in Texas will work to his advantage and he could help the democratic nominee carry Texas.  But he can also beat Cornyn for the Senate.  His Senate campaign will also help bring out the vote for the democratic nominee.

The issue is taking back the Senate.  This country cannot wait another 4 years for taking down either of the two Texas Republican Senators.  The current three democrats vying for the nomination cannot beat John Cornyn.  No one is even coming close to raising the needed money.

PETE BUTTIGIEG, THE THIRD CANDIDATE RUNNING FOR VP

Pete Buttigieg does not face the choice of running for VP or the Senate.  He cannot make a difference in control of the Senate by running for Senate.  This separates him from Beto and Julian.

As VP he carries the resume.  He speaks multiple languages and is a combat veteran.  A big roll of the VP is to travel the world for the president and preach the president's message.  His education and ability to speak multiple languages makes him the perfect messenger.

This issue of Pete being gay is a non-issue.  The polling shows the American people are done with this issue.  It is true the Trumpites will claim sin will fall on the White House and God will strike us down.  Such claims will only make the rational voters fear Trump more.

It is sad when candidates run for VP and turn their backs on the best interest of the people and the party.

Castro and O'Rourke have decided for themselves first, and in the end will find themselves coming in last.

LET US NOT FORGET WHAT A FOREIGN DIPLOMAT IS QUOTED AS SAYING ABOUT TRUMP

"He’s the incumbent, the U.S. economy is strong and the Democrats have no definitive front-runner to challenge him."

This is true.  If Biden is the nominee, he will need a very strong voice as his VP.  I like Biden.  But Biden is old guard when Congress compromised.  I have no issue with his.  But in today's world it is a weakness.  This is a sad reality.
