TUESDAY NIGHT MAYOR ELECT TREY MENDEZ, AT LARGE COMMISSIONER JOHN COWEN, AND DISTRICT 1 COMMISSIONER NURITH GALONSKY WILL BE SWORN IN

I wish all three the best.  I am posting now because I am leaving for San Antonio at 7 a.m. and have to be up at 6.  I learned today my surgeon requested and was given permission to redo the surgery if he concludes the shunting failed.  I have a driver.  My vision is real bad and the headaches are so so bad.

But to our new city commission I wish all of them the best.  We will not always agree, but I known I see great hope.  Short of a major controversy, we shall see if they have moved Brownsville forward over the next 12 months.  There is a lot to undo and to do.

I wish all three the best.  The country even nationally is ready for a more youthful leadership.  Nothing wrong with being old, but older politicians are not connected to the youth who are our future.

I believe Brownsville is in good hands.

If I do not post for a few days you know I am in the Methodist Stone Oak in San Antonio.  I really do not want to return to Brownsville until they have this fixed.
