WITH THE NEW CITY COMMISSION NOT EVEN SEATED THE INTIMIDATION TACTICS AGAINST CITY MANAGER NOEL BERNAL BEGIN

I know who is asking McHale to print the lies about Bernal.  Guys sending the city commission for TOMA training will change nothing.  They will continue to violate the rules and use the same people to play the intimidation tactics to get what they want and not what the law commands.

SOME FACTS WHICH MATTER

Nurith Galonsky and Ben Neece will never be able to vote on anything which benefits Abraham Galonsky.  Nurith for obvious reasons and Ben Neece because he rents from Galonsky.  Tetreau and Munguia will never vote for Galonsky, so Galonsky will never have the 4 votes they need unless they break the rules.

Rose Gowen is going into 2021 with two TOMA violations which will be used against her in the election.  She is not going to throw herself under the bus for anyone at this point.  Her issues are too important to her to have her voice lost at the city.  She is going to fight for her issues, but by the book.

So in terms of getting anything Galonsky is dead in the water.  And so too is Mike Hernandez.  He will not have 4 votes.

This means both sides have to play Noel Bernal and he will not play and this is why McHale is putting out disinformation about him - it is a childish attempt at intimination of what is to come if he does not get on board with team Galonsky.

TREY MENDEZ WILL WIN AND THEN BE IN FOR A SHOCK

Trey is not going to break the rules or intimidate anyone to get what any group wants.  This is going to force him into a strong alliance with City Manager Noel Bernal as the vultures look for scraps.  Remember what I said about the game of Survivor - alliances are good for only one vote.

AN IMPORTANT FIX

They can try now, but if not the new city commission must act.  I would summit it will take Alex Dominguez the new two years to push for what needs to be done.

As Judge Pate said he knows Brownsville.

We need stronger due process rights  for all city managers, school superintendents etc.  Until the state passes laws to better protect these people nothing with change except how things are done every two years.

JUDGE PATE RAISED THIS ISSUE BUT IT WAS LOST ON THE ATTORNEYS

He specifically asked if there had been a change in the composition of  the city commission since 2016.  He gets it.  Both sides sat there and said no.  The importance of the question was very clear to Judge Pate.  We either provide greater due process rights to these hired leaders or continue in these endless cycles of litigation.

Second we need a rule which says you cannot be an elected official on any body wherein you are doing business with a company doing business with the elective body you serve.

This city commission would be smart to pass the rule now.  It would force Jessica Tetreau to either resign or give up the contract with Republic.  Mike Hernandez has zero power after this election. Losing Jessica is no big deal, but tying Galonsky's hands is. Mike has nothing to lose and everything to gain.  The rule would mean the COB could do no business with Abraham Galonsky or Nurith and Ben would have to resign.

I am not going to play this game of attacking Jessica and her family for making money on Republic, which they already do because Republic has the residential contract, while ignoring the fundamental problem and then allowing city commissioners to do business with Abraham Galonsky while they have business with Abraham Galonsky.

The practice needs to end.  It will only end in two years if Alex Dominguez can make it a state law because neither this nor the new city commission will ever agree to such rules of ethics.
