IT'S OFFICIAL GOVERNOR ABBOTT MAKES THE GROWING OF HEMP LEGAL IN TEXAS

The question is, is Cameron county ready to work with the farmers to make this the new cash crop for Cameron county.  Water is a constant issue.  Hemp unlike cotton needs very little water.

The county and all of the cities should be working as a team to encourage the growing of hemp, offering incentives to those willing to build a processing plant, and those willing to bring in manufacturing.

Will our leaders lead, or will they allow the boom to go to other parts of Texas.  Kentucky is already in the middle of the boom, seeing hemp as a replacement crop for tobacco.
