EITHER JESSICA TETREAU OR CESAR DE LEON FILED AN OBJECTION TO JUDGE PATE HEARING THE GMS SUIT

UPDATE:  The online system shows Arnold J. Aguilar is representing Cesar individually, so the presumption would be Cesar filed the objection to Judge Pate.  No attorney is listed for Jessica in her individual capacity.

The online system does not have the objection uploaded yet.  There is simply a note an objection was filed yesterday.  How do I know it was Jessica or Cesar?  A telephone hearing between GMS and the City was held and it did not go as the city wanted.  That was the 15th.  All of the other commissioners are part of the city so after the hearing the right to object was waived by GMS and the city and its commissioners, except those who are sued individually.

I cannot say if the objection is good.  The note does not say who appeared at the telephpone hearing.  If a lawyer for Jessica or Cesar individually appeared at the hearing, then they too waived the right to object.  As soon as the document posts the BV will post.  Right now it is too dangerous for me to drive so I cannot go to the Administrative building and look at the original.

NO DEPOSITIONS TODAY

You see Judge Pate set an emergency hearing on the Motions to Stop the Depositions.  The city fearing the truth is the one who initiated the Motion to Stop Jessica's and Cesar's deposition.  This was a dangerous move because they cannot represent Jessica or Cesar in their capacity of being sued indvidually.  Baker and Botts will know how to handle the city for this stunt.

So now we wait for a new judge to be assigned and see if he or she can have a hearing.  Hopefully the Administrative Judge knows to avoid further delay she has to appoint a real retired judge.  It does not matter if they are a senior judge, if they lost their last election the party who did not file the objection can file an objection to this next judge.

SO THE CITY IS GOING TO DELAY THIS AND IN THE PROCESS ONLY MAKE ITSELF LOOK REALLY BAD.
