MONTOYA KNOWS NO LIMIT TO THE LIES FOR CINDI HINOJOSA

In 1968 and 1972, there were riots at the Democratic Convention to end party officials getting involved in the primaries.  But where is Montoya speaking out against his arch enemy Gilbert Hinojosa as the Democratic Party Chair taking sides in the primaries for his wife? Dead silence.

Well the state and national party will decide this violation of the rules.

LINDA SALAZAR

Montoya is claiming while acting as a JP Judge Linda Salazar endorsed Charlie Cabler for mayor.  I can assure you I am not happy with the endorsement, but Montoya just out right lies about Linda Salazar violating the Judicial Rules of Professional Conduct.

HISTORY OF CHIEF JUSTICE NATHAN HECHT

"The State Commission on Judicial Conduct has issued a public admonition to Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan Hecht regarding comments he made to the press last year in support of the nomination of White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the U.S. Supreme Court."

The Court reversed the the Commission on judicial conduct's findings with the following statement

"Finally, we conclude Canon 2B does not apply to the political conduct at issue, and, therefore, no violation can be found."

There are numerous opinions on this issue now, and every judge who has appealed to the court has won on Free Speech grounds.  In fact in the case wherein Erin Garcia received maybe a private reprimand, in an identical case for another JP the court found the Commission's ruling violated the JP's constitutional rights.

The line seems to be the Judge has to say "I judge so and so endorse so and so."  So unless Montoya has evidence of this, beyond a picture or Linda Salazar actually saying she is endorsing anyone as a judge, Montoya would better serve the community by asking why the Democratic Party Chair is endorsing a candidate in the primaries in clear violations of the Rules.  I guess we fought in the streets in 68' and 72' so Gilbert Hinojosa and Cindi Hinojosa could trample on us at their will.
