BISD SNACK PACKS FUNDRAISER

This was done in December. The loyal customers spend their money and a percentage went to the BISD Snack Pack fundraiser. $2000 was raised providing snack packs for 70 children.

You will not read this on the other blogs because they are for pay only. But hundred of people and organizations run these type fundraisers without demanding their hacks on the City Commission given them wood with their name on it.

I celebrate everyone whether individually or as an organization donating their time and money for so many important issues without demanding press coverage.

To get this type information I have to seek it out. I am not paid to promote it, or asked to promote it. These are the real heroes in Brownsville.

Any new downtown business will find free promotion at the BV. The goal is to promote downtown. There are several places I want to visit but I cannot chance driving or being alone.

But feel free to tell me about your new business and the BV will promote it all of the time, for free.

THE WORDS OF JOSHUA AKA JESUS ON TRUE CHARITY, WHICH IS LOST ON CON ARTISTS ALWAYS SEEKING PUBLIC PRAISE.

Matthew 6

"“Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you [a]openly."

To clarify, fundraisers do require advertising if you intend to get people to attend.  The issue is demanding press to praise you for having done it.
