WHERE MIKE HERNANDEZ IS A COMPLETE FAILURE IN EDUCATING THE POOR, AND IN JOB CREATION

Now obviously the source of the problem is not all on Mike Hernandez.  But for sure his support for Cesar Lopez is a key factor in denying special needs child a Fair and Proper Education as provided for by federal law.

If Mike Hernandez truly cared about these kids he would be denouncing Cesar Lopez instead of running him as his puppet for the BND.  But the feds and the state will handle Cesar soon enough along with a major lawsuit asking for a Master to oversee BISD and the TEA. Cesar will be a named defendant soon, very soon.  Mike Hernandez will call it a political ploy while making light of the children who are being abused and neglected as the only thing he can do to protect Cesar.

THE BASIC PROBLEM IS OUR LEADERSHIP WITH RARE EXCEPTION DOES NOT CARE

Cameron County should have a committee to begin to recruit manufacturing and processing facilities for hemp.  Every study shows the LRGV is perfect for hemp, and it uses a lot less water than cotton.  Now is when our leaders should be working with the community and outsiders to bring in the processing and manufacturing plants.  Where is Mike Hernandez and Carlos Marin on this new great job opportunity which is rapidly developing as Congress gets ready to legalize the growing of hemp without regulations or license? No where.

JOB TRAINING

Still nothing in Brownsville concerning robotics manufacturing training.  God I have been at this for more than 14 years on deaf ears.  I get no one entity can do it because of cost.  But  a Cameron County job creation initiative which includes public and private entities can do it.  The Port did it with Omnitrax and it is a success.  Why can we not do it for robotics training in robotics.  It is going to take money from the county, cities, TSC and the school districts along with federal and state grants and the private sector.  TSC has already offered the space at the old Amigoland Mall.  This is a step forward.

THE HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUTS

Because of stores like JCP and Sears and others, employees with 20-30 years of rising up the ranks are now on hard times with unemployment having run out.  Back then you were judged on the quality of your work ethic and skills.  Today a GED and being lazy will get you a job over someone with a proven job record including multiple promotions into management

These people have tried over and over again to get their GED's but fail because they need accommodations.  They are visual and audio learners.  Many are smarter than college graduates and harder workers.  But no one in Cameron County is offering free testing for these people so they can receive accommodations in taking the GED.  No GED, you can be the best at the job and you will not get the interview.

Where is Mike Hernandez on this issue?  Not a penny to help.  No profit in it or self promotion.

TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION IN CAMERON COUNTY OFFERING LESS THAN IN ANGLO DOMINATED COMMUNITIES

The free job training options all over Texas are many, but not many in Cameron County.  A simple thing as job training in fork lifts does not exist for the unemployed.  Many distributors just violate OSHA rules and use uncertified users.  Others hire outside the county because there is no training.

I can go on for ever on these issues and no one is doing anything to help these poor.

The day Mike Hernandez steps up to the plate and addresses these basic problems keeping the poorest of the poor down, is the day he can say he is helping.  But for now Mike has done nothing to help these people or address the fundamental problems.

BUT MIKE WILL ONLY LISTEN TO THOSE WILLING TO TAKE HIS MONEY AND WORSHIP HIM.  MIKE MAY HAVE HAD THE BEST INTENSIONS, BUT HE WENT ABOUT IT THE WRONG WAY WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE
