COMPLETELY LOST ON MIKE HERNANDEZ AND CESAR LOPEZ, BISD BOARD PRESIDENT

We lose children every day at the BISD drop out factory because the system judges the fish which cannot climb a tree.  Children through no fault of their own suffer extreme anxiety in the regular classroom and BISD's policy is to keep them there to disrupt the teacher.

How is it a child with a speech impediment so bad no one an understand him requires a threat of a TEA complaint to get BISD to put him in speech therapy?

WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE WHO WILL NEVER GET A GOOD JOB BECAUSE THEY CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR THE TESTING TO RECEIVE SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS DURING THE GED

No one in this town cares, because no one with the ability to care has been on the front lines to see this.  I work with these people every day - no cost - just trying to get them to move forward.

I cannot believe how many people I am now working with who have been laid off in retail after - 20-30 years rising up the ranks to management as hard workers who now are losing their cars and homes because without a GED they cannot get an interview.

They never expected to be laid off because of the retail crisis.  All they knew is they worked hard, proved themselves and kept on getting promoted.  Today the morons running companies prefer an 18 year old with no proven work history with a GED over someone who was very successful for 20-30 years, but without the GED.  This is just a plain dumb incompetent business model.

But we judge them on the GED and not their intelligence or work ethic.  Some people can learn anything and I mean anything visually, or as an auditory learner.  This is real, but no one wants to help them.  People like Mike Hernandez do not look for those truly in need, he goes for the easy ones who have many opportunities given the number of grants available.  But the neediest are dumped on the side of the road to fend for themselves.

This is a question of social justice in education, and we are not even talking about it, and then ask why we cannot move forward.

"You have until Friday to call for a special meeting by Tuesday April 17, 2018, to remove Desesperanza Zendejas, Baltazar Salazar, and Sandra Rodriguez. Each Trustee is to email me their support for or against the meeting. Anyone who does not support the meeting will be named in the federal lawsuit as part of the problem."

What happened? What actions did you take? Your readers want to know.

It is not Friday yet. I have three votes. I have no idea if Montoya is lying but the claim is they are pushing out Zendejas. That will stop nothing. The federal investigators will not be happy that the TEA lied to the to protect BISD on how dylexia students are to be treated. I get the Board. They will spend 20 million if need ne to deny children and education. They are only about contracts and making money. Education is not even on the table at BISD. So we push for a master.

Things take time.

As a parent i would not rely on the district for speech therapy. I would get my prdiatrician to refer my child outside of school.
What about holding the parent accountable. They are probably on welfare anyways and qualify for assistance. Ignorance on the parents part is not an excuse!

What about the fact the parent has been asking for assistane since August and was igored. And what about the fact the doctor told her to have it done in the school. The child's cousin went through the school and in a year his speech was perfect for his age. So learn your facts before you take the typical troll approach and just make of facts and lie,
