THE TRIP - FIRST LAGUARDIA CLOSED FOR WINDS, PITTSBURGH, MET MILA FROM SANTIAGO ON HER WAY TO TOKYO, PECONIC BAY

After we failed twice trying to land at LaGuardia, United had to go to Pittsburgh because even Philadelphia was closed for winds.  No one in Pittsburgh speaks Spanish at United.  So I saw Mila being confused so I helped her.  It was a mess  - 4 hours to get hotel vouchers   We waited an hour in a half in the cold for the shuttle to the hotel.  I stayed with Mila helping her until I had her on the bus from LaGuardia to JFK to catch her flight to Tokyo.  It was nice to may a new acquaintance.

PECONIC BAY, BACK  SODA, AND FRESH PECONIC BAY CHERRY SCALLOPS

Yesterday when I finally got in for lunch we went out east to Peconic bay for scallops and the famous Black Cherry soda.  Then we went to the winery for a few glasses of wine,  It was me, my older brother and sister and a niece and her two kids.  We has a blast.
