ROSQILLAS

These are a Nicaraguan treat.  Corn mixed with a cheese that smells like old socks.  This bag was full when my brother brought it to me this morning. If I keep on eating I will get sick.  My grandmother use to send them from Nicaragua. 

For breakfast my sister made Johhny Cakes which go back to the indigenous people of New England.  This is a food we got  from my father and his British history and family in Rhose Island.  I love how our family has mixed the cultures and we still embrace the unique foods from both sides.
