OUR REPUBLIC DIED A LONG TIME AGO.  CORPORATISM IS NOT NEW, BUT SWINGS IN THE SUPREME COURT AN POLITICS HAVE DELAYED THE FINAL DEATH NAIL ON OUR REPUBLIC

Yes this is one of those think pieces people hate to read.  In the late 1800's and early 1900's we had the great railroad and oil barons controlling large segments of our country.  The famous book' Animal Farm" puts this period into perspective.

With social reform from congress, protests and FDR threatening to pack the Supreme Court with anti-corporatists, things began to swing away from corporatism.

But it is back. Not all corporations are bad.  Many have lead the way to social reform and are key to medical research and other important charities.

As a people we have lost sight of who we are and where we came from.  The corporations use their bought and paid for politicos to divide us to keep us distracted from what we all have in common.  They play to our deepest fears and we allow for it.  We are the enemy within.

Because both parties are playing scripts written by the corporations the people have no voice.  Money and political machines are calling the elections.  The people as a voice are not even considered.

I am tirmed of all the petitions on FB no one will ever read, and the marches the politico's dismiss.

It is going to take a billionaire true to the word of the people wants to unite us on common ground to invest and organize the people.  That is not going to happen.

The talking heads, even those who understand the problem are like listening to the dead in a cemetary.

Looking for rational ideas.  But I am voting a blank ballot in the Democratic Primary during early voting. I will be in NY for my 60th.  I hate to tell you, it is highly unlikely I will be on line on my birthday watching election returns so I do not expect to cover the election.  The family is too big for one get together so it seems we are having two simple get together.  It was my choice.  About half with take home Chinese and another night with the other have with Ciro
s pizza.  I said no to formal dinning.  No fun there.
