THE LNG BATTLE IS FAR FROM OVER - DEMAND EACH PORT CANDIDATE GO ON RECORD AS TO THIS ISSUE

Jim Barton brought up an article from LNG World News which contains the following: "The project is currently going through the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) process, with NextDecade expecting to receive a notice of schedule in the near future. A final authorization is expected in the second half of 2018."

I have spoken with two of the prospective candidates for Port Commissioner.  Both said they have not thought about LNG, and that as far as they knew it is a done deal.  If you want to be on the Port Commission and have not thought about LNG, and are unaware the deal is yet to be finalized then you are saying you are not qualified to serve on the Port.

My position is simple.  Every candidate gives a straight up and down answer. will they or will they not if elected use their position to kill LNG?

They should not be allowed to run from LNG on a lie they have not thought about it, or that it is a done deal when it is not.

Sorry, but I need maybe another two hours sleep. The neuropathy at an advanced stage makes it nearly impossible to keep the body warm.  It is like being in a freezer.  My home is at 73.  It should not feel like a freezer.

I have more stories but it is just too cold, and I am in just too much pain.
