PHILIP T. COWEN: AWARD FOR BOLDEST MOVE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE

Because Montoya according to Mike Hernandez works for him, and Hernandez hates the Cowans over the Port Election, Montoya trashed Mr. Cowan with a false conspiracy theory on no evidence.

The award is for wanting to hire an attorney to look into the rate increase at BPUB and possible recovery of the money charged for Tenaska.  This would have helped everyone who is billed by the BPUB.

But Montoya was paid to trash him and the matter was set aside.  Because for Montoya the high he gets from addiction is worth more then Mr. Cowan trying to have BISD hire an attorney to represent in effect all of us over the failed Tenaska deal, we all lost.

The only elected official in all of Cameron County and Brownsville who actually tried to do something to lower our bills and help everyone was trashed with a false conspiracy theory for a few beers.

Those who advertise with Montoya are going to be repeatedly linked to this tremendous loss for the people.  There must be accountability.

Wow! Good reporting and credible. Juan writes good, but does not report based on facts. Juan advocates based on who pays him. Unfortunately, this man with talent has little to no credibility. Good writer, but not a good source to rely on.

I'm impressed that a blogger is just presenting the facts and not using Yellow Journalism to have traffic on his site. You reported the truth that keeps getting deconstructed in the name of views. It' sad many people are to stupid to really analyze data.
