6 U.S. DEMOCRATIC FEMALE SENATORS HAVE CALLED ON FELLOW DEMOCRAT AL FRANKEN TO RESIGN

UPDATE:  THERE ARE NOW 32 DEMOCRATIC SENATORS CALLING FOR AL FRANKEN'S RESIGNATION.  BUT YET THE REPUBLICANS CONTINUE TO BACK ROY MOORE.  WOMEN MATTER REPUBLICANS

UPDATE:  28 DEMOCRATIC SENATORS NOW CALLING FOR AL FRANKEN TO RESIGN, WHILE THE REPUBLICANS CONTINUE TO MAKE LIGHT OF SENATE CANDIDATE ROY MOORES PROBLEMS WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT.

I just checked Gilbert Hinojosa's twitter account, not a word on the harassment issue from Hinojosa, not a word on the gay spectrum in Texas losing a major rights case, not a word not a word on racism within the Democratic Party.  And you still ask why we cannot win.  Keep supporting the Nobles in the Democratic Party and watch all of our civil rights go away.

An yes I have gotten calls over this post that it is stupid for my potential campaign to speak the truth about Gilbert Hinojosa.  No what is stupid and cowardly is to remain silent out of fear.  I will never be silenced by fear.

ORIGINAL POST

Senators Kamala Harris, Claire McCaskill, Maggie Hassan, Mazie Hirono, Patty Murray, Kirsten Gillibrand - all prominent Democratic lawmakers - released their statements online following a US media report that he allegedly attempted to forcibly kiss a former congressional aide in 2006."

"In separate statements released almost simultaneously on Wednesday, the Democratic lawmakers said the Minnesota senator must step down. Mr Franken, a former Saturday Night Live comedian, has been accused of groping and sexually harassing seven women, including a US military veteran. Mr Franken has apologized to his accusers, but disputes some claims."

While at the federal level, the Democrats are clearly saying enough is enough, while the Republicans continue to dismiss women as second class citizens.  But in the end we need stronger laws, and longer statute of limitations  for victims to bring forward both civil and criminal claims.  I was happy this morning that "Time Magazine" named the women who have come forward as "Persons of the Year."

I will not hide from the fact this is a very difficult issue.  I remain solid on Innocent until Proven Guilty.  But when you are an elected official and you admit to some of the claims or the preponderance of the evidence points to some of the claims being true, you should resign.  The people's confidence in the integrity of public office is too important for elected officials to remain in office once they have admitted to some of the claims.

A FAUX DEMOCRAT TEXAS PARTY CHAIR GILBERT HINOJOSA

Dead silence on Cesar De Leon's racial tirade, dead silence on Texas being allowed to deny equal benefits to spouses within the gay spectrum, and dead silent on the clear evidence that women remain unempowered and still subject to discrimination and harassment.

Any competent State Party Chair would be rallying the voters to vote Democrat so these issues can be addressed in Austin, but not Gilbert Hinojosa.  Dead silence.

Well I will rally the voters no matter how bad things have gotten in the Democratic Party they now need to commit to new laws to protect against racial animus, discrimination against people within the gay spectrum, and discrimination and harassment against women.

You will not hear Mary Esther Sorola make a similar demand against Gilbert Hinojosa.  She was taught well, remain silent and never stand for anything which may anger anyone with power.  My voice is with the people regardless of how it angers.  And if I run I already have the mandamus ready if I am denied a place on the ballot, and the Federal Voting Rights act lawsuit ready to go.

There is a reason why no viable candidate will come forward for Governor as a Democrat.  No one with the ability to win has confidence in Party Chair Gilbert Hinojosa.

My goal is to give the Texas Democratic Party a face which has a long history of standing up for civil liberties, and whose documented history is "in your face to the power brokers who keep the people from running against the protected."

BEGIN WITH E-MAILING RENE OLIVIERA AND DEMAND HE PROMISE TO INTRODUCE LAWS WHICH BETTER PROTECT AGAINST RACIAL, GENDER, AND GAY SPECTRUM DISCRIMINATION.  DEMAND HE GIVE A PUBLIC STATEMENT ON THESE ISSUES
