I AM POSTING THIS VIDEO FOR SEVERAL REASONS [1] TO SHOW HOW DANGEROUS CARPENTER BEES CAN BE IN A REGULAR NEIGHBORHOOD, [2] TO SHOW SOME OF WHAT THE POSTER SAID UNDER THE COFFEE CUP IS TRUE, [3] AND TO SHOW SINCE I AM THE ONE DEALING WITH THEM, MAYBE I KNOW A BIT MORE

I google everything before I form my options. What confused me when I looked up different type bees and the carpenter bee stood out, where was the wood in a brick mailbox? Well I learned that it is not unusual for the mailbox to be framed in wood before the bricks are put on.  I found my wood.

What I knew for sure is, they do not have stingers because they were all over my face and arms while I was trying to seal any openings.  One actually flew into my eye. Nothing.

Next, and I just went out to check this, they have white heads and black bellies with a little yellow on top.  I saw enough pictures to form an opinion..

But as I noted because of the wood issue, these are bad for neighborhoods.  They are the termites of bees.

The bottom line is they have to go.  But I will do everything possible to save  the queen so she can be released on a farm.  The males die off anyway.
