I WAS IN BED WHEN MY ROOMMATE CALLED ME TO LOOK AT THIS OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR.

I am very protective of my bees.  I have hives under several palm branches, and more than I can count on the eaves of the house.  The only ones I remove are under the eaves around the pool deck.  This is hanging on a Tulipan outside the gate to my front door.  They are not aggressive because yesterday when my roommate was trimming the Tulipan so we could get to the gate, they did not react.  When I trimmed under the Tulipan no reaction.

What amazes me is the engineering which goes into hive.  Why is it we do not think twice about the amazing engineering skills of bees, but if an indigenous tribe anywhere in the world shows the same level of engineering skills, we assume aliens helped them.  Whether animals in the wild or man, we have the skills to find a way.  The proof is the amazing engineering which goes into a beehive.
