Well making the BuildaBear at the mall was easy.  I knew what I wanted.  All I had to do was humiliate myself with a heart ritual which is placed inside the bear, and hold down my foot on a pedal as the employee held the empty bear and allowed the stuffing to fill the bear.  Oh, the birth certificates can be a challenge because you have to name the bears.  I was happy with my choices.

Bela's brothers are going to love these.

But then Bela - her grandfather and I decided to give her the Barbie Dream House she wanted.  This is the kill me now present.  I am two days in.  I think the worst of it is over. The directions are written in very small print in a lot of languages.  The assembly pictures are hard to follow.  I'm still not sure where the stickers go.  I am trying to look for them on the display on the box.

Eventually you learn that there are a lot of parts which just goes places and can easily be lost.

I decided to put the gift together ahead of time, because I have seen enough parents almost lose it while putting together presents on Christmas morning - the stickers can kill even the most level headed parent.

The kids will be happy, and that is all that matters.
