DOWN SYNDROME EMPLOYEE RETIRES AFTER 32 YEARS

Some Monday morning motivation for us all. After more than 30 years of service, McDonald's is throwing Freia, a longtime employee with Down syndrome a retirement party!

For years there was a young girl with down syndrome working at McDonald's (four corners)and other working at HEB (Boca Chica and Paredes Lines). FYI

Today we know some people with down syndrome can graduate college. Other than features they are all different. My aunt Socorro was so so smart. She had an incredible memory. But she was raised in Nicaragua at a time if you had down syndrome everyone assumed you could not learn.
