Well as is always the key, you get a good deal when you buy a car on a rainy day. When it is pouring rain and you are the only customer on the lot, they are ready to sell.  I did not get what I wanted, but I got a good deal.  The one I wanted which was on the web page had sold already.  This forced me to go with a 2015 used Sodona.  But, it only has 11,000 miles and it comes with 8 years of basically bumper to bumper repairs with no deductible and a rental car.  Also an interest rate on a used car of 3.3% is not a bad deal.

I also wanted the 3rd set of seats, but this one only has two rows.  The third row is really only for small children because there is almost no leg room.  This one will do.  When my roommate borrows it to take his daughter and grandchildren around the grandmother will be happy in the cargo area.  I actually did 8 hours once in the car area with pillows and it was a nice sleep.  He has three grandchildren so the back seat with two car seats and a booster seat, means there are only enough seats for two adults.

But the gas mileage is going to save me a lot of money.

I am not sure what I am going to do with the truck.  It is a high volume demand truck for parts.  I know if I wait I can get $2,500 even with a broken timing chain.  Or I can just save the money and have a home mechanic fix it.  My brother says if he comes this summer he can fix it.  PEP boys while I like them and use them all of the time, on engine work just charges way too much.  It was not worth the fix.

We shall see - if i can get $2,000, I will probably let it go.
