SHOPPING FOR A WHEEL BARREL

My regular readers know I do most of my own work.  It may take me for ever because I cannot breath, but exercise is exercise.  The wheel barrel which came with the house broke when I tossed a large log into the wheel barrel from a tree I took down.

There are so many options.  The above one is the one I will buy.  A friend has found someone who will sell and deliver a yard of top soil my home.  I need to regrade the west side of my home.  I also need to replace two fence posts which have broken from rot so I will need to be able to mix cement.

The below link to an article helped me to choose the perfect wheel barrel.  I research everything.  This article was awesome.  If you need a wheel barrel, read the article.  I am going with the double wheels - mostly because I have breathing problems - so greater balance is better for me.  But as it turns out the plastic is better than steel, and wooded handles are better than steal. Also you must make sure the nuts are sunken into the plastic so the shovel does not get caught on the nuts.

It's like driving a dump truck, but it sure is tough.

I was suppose to call today to have mine delivered tomorrow, but I cannot find his business card on my desk. I have been at it for 30 minutes. I am hoping my roommate can call his source and get the number again - I will update this evening if my roommate can get the number again.

He normally only delivers 14 yards but agreed to one yard for $50 - or 14 for $85
