What happened their Bobby? Why now?

I'm not sure. I do know of an event within the last 36 hours, but do not know if the principal was involved. Also of interest BISD asked a parent for permission to have their child prepare and sign an out cry witness statement and now nothing - dead silence from Hanna. An out cry witness is the first person an abused child tells of abuse. Hanna called the parent of the out cry witness for permission to have the child give the statement for the benefit of the victim, but then went silent.

It may be related to that - but maybe not. To be clear the allegation of abuse did not involve any BISD personnel. But I know BISD personnel have ignored out cries in the past. So maybe something happened concerning the allegation.

But for all I know she was sent to Lopez to fix problems and Ms. Presas was considered the best person to fix those problems.

i think it was because of the Lopez teacher. I'm sure that it was know by many at the school what was going on.

years ago a Point Isabel coach was fired over an inappropriate relationship. When I was there for 6 weeks I can say it was common knowledge among the coaching staff - they thought it was funny - I had no proof - just rumors -

They cover for one another.

A while back a well liked principal lost his job for not reporting on another principal.

We need zero tolerance for such nonsense.

But the reason for the transfer is purely speculation.

Hi, Bobby

Please don't let this story die. I just heard that Ms. Aguilar suddenly and spontaneously retired in the middle of the year from Lopez High School. Further, there is a new principal. Also Ms. Presas has maintained a low profile, meaning no one sees her at Lopez, ever. Please connect the dots for us. With this kind of instability, no one is sure what the future holds for BISD or for due process for all. Please report back on this matter. Thanks. Glad to know you are hanging tough, despite your struggles. You are a courageous and caring soul, who chooses to do the right thing rather than selling out for financial gain. God bless you.
