DESESPERANZA ZENDEJAS AND JOE RODRIGUEZ CONTINUE POLICY OF DISCRIMINATING AGAINST HIGHLY QUALIFIED VETERANS IN FAVOR OF MOVING FAILURES AROUND

We all know failed principals and administrators are sent to transportation.  This policy has to stop if for no other reason than to send a message if you fail at the job you choose, you will be fired.  Until this is the policy at BISD, excellence will never be the standard.

BISD no longer able to explain why Luis Segura remains at the failed Stell Middle school, finally sent him to BISD's Siberia - transportation.  The BV has documented Segura's endless failures as principal since 2011.  BISD had to defend against TEA investigations concerning special needs kids.  Disability Inc had to send a lawyer to defend a child against Segura's lies. The child won.

This guy is so bad he looked a father in the face and when challenged as to why Segura did not allow the father in the ARD or disciplinary hearing claimed he had a restraining order against the father.  When asked to produce the restraining order he could not.  It was a lie to cover-up his incompetence.  Carl Montoya refused to take action.  Why?  Luis Segura protector has always been Rita Hernandez and Rita was not going to allow incompetence to cost her boy his job.

But after Stell was designated a failed school, and Carl Montoya gone, BISD had no choice but to end Luis Segura's failed tenure at Stell.  My question is, why has Rita Hernandez as the AA not been removed from her position for protecting Luis Segura.

Luis was moved to his new position on July 1, 2015.

Transportation has been a thorn in the side of BISD for years.  It is BISD's Siberia where failed administrators are sent into exile, instead of doing what any competent corporation would do - namely fire the failed administrator.

Veterans who ran battalion level transportation and logistics units are looking for jobs.  These veterans are the experts who can and will fix BISD's transportation department.

But BISD has a policy of only hiring failed administrators instead of the highly qualified veterans who would jump at the job offer.

People used to apply for management positions at Transportation. Then BISD started sending the incompetent failures to Transportation. Of course, they also failed at transportation and are then recycled to Food Services or some other area where their incompetence will not cause major damage to the organization. This is how BISD thinks. It is not good policy and is a drain on the taxpayers of this community. And the failures? They keep laughing,just ask Art.

If principals are being moved or demoted, what about the AAs?

Isnt the role of the AAs to meet and work with principals to ensure academic success?

Where is the documentation that shows the mamy times AAs sat done to assist?

Teachers are held responsible for student success, principals are held responsible for school success.... What are AAs held accountable for? What are the specialists accountable for... Modt importantly, what is the super held accountable for?

Side note- why havent other principals with low performing campuses been moved?

Why were some principals demoted and some moved to main office?

The BISD Siberia used to be Faulk middle school. If you were a lousy principal or if someone in high administration didn't like you, you ended up at Faulk so you could "hang" yourself and not blame anyone else.
Some of the people Zendendejas is moving have the years to retire (trying to push them out) some she just doesn't get along with and some are just being "punished".

Bobby can you give us an update on all the moves? It seems that Sup Z is making a lot of moves, yet not published, but the tax payers and community are getting the same. Higher taxes, more monies funneled to the pockets of those that want a piece of the BISD 3-layer pie. So basically folks, NO ONE GETS FIRED IN BISD! You can screw up the education and monies of our students, and you will get moved to transportation or food services? No wonder the morale and back-stabbing is at an all time HIGH! The logo Believe in B---is a joke that some AA don't even care about.
