Way too many emails and texts to respond to.

Well I got to see my surgeon of choice.  The VA got in high gear and got him to see me.  They moved mountains to get him everything he asked for.

Unfortunately the VB access was down and he could not look at the fluoroscope x-rays done during the two ERCP's which failed.

I am on hold until next Monday. He already had plans to be out of town.  He says he is not certain the mass he sees on the liver is the enlarged cystic duct. He said the cystic duct clearly has to come out because of a massive gallstone. This is why he wants to see the fluoroscope x-rays.  He said this is not going to be a walk in the park.  The mass whether a benign tumor or the cystic duct is going to be difficult to get out.

Even though he is the best Board Certified doctor in his field he is going to have a liver surgeon make the call as to whether or not he or the liver surgeon should do the surgery.

He also said it could be scar tissue from where the gallbladder use to sit.

He does not want to have me open to find out he cannot complete the surgery.
