IT WAS NICE, NOT ONE CANDIDATE SUPPORTER WAVING A SIGN AT MY TRUCK

I voted a blank ballot at the Central Library at 8:45 a.m.  There was not one person waving a sign for any candidate.  It was nice.  It actually irritates me when I see it in addition to me finding it insulting that I will cast my ballot based on someone waving a sign at my truck as I pull into the library.

For a run-off the count is very good.  There was one day at the Central Library wherein more people voted than on any day during the regular election.

The candidates seem to be working the election.

When early voting numbers come out about 7:15 p.m. Saturday night, we will know if Martinez's internal polling shows he is in trouble or if his deceptive mailer was simply to insure a super majority victory so he can use it as a mandate to control the other commissioners.

Do not buy it commissioners - in round one the people rejected Tony - even if he wins by a super majority all it means is people could not bring themselves to vote for Pat Ahumada.

HARD CORE FACT

In round one the people said no to Tony Martinez - no matter how much he wins by, this hard core fact remains true.
