HOW DESESPERANZA ZENDEJAS AND MINERVA PENA INSTITUTED AN UNCONSTITUTIONAL SEGREGATION OF THE POOR AND RICH CHILDREN

The fake Christian Minerva Peña has turned her home into a gaudy tribute to fake Christianity. It is at the point of bringing down property values on Coffee Port. When you have to use gaudy materialism to advertise your Christianity, you are anything but a Christian. A Christian would never deny poor children a proper education because they are poor - but Minerva Peña seems to think otherwise.

Stell Middle School is a failed school.  Parents are now allowed to remove their children to another middle school.  Luis Segura, the principal, has the full protection of Rita Hernandez, Minerva Peña, and Desesperanza Zendejas.  Why does he still have a job?

Rather than do what any competent administrators would do and remove Luis Segura as the principal of the failed Stell middle school, they decided to open all elementary schools to transfer.  But here is the deal, only the parents with time and money to take their kids to the better elementary schools can participate.  The poor have to stay at the failed schools.  In the end, we will have segregated schools.  The poor and most in need children will stay at the failed schools while those with money will go to the better schools.  BISD will get sued for this unconstitutional segregation of children based on economic status.

Other than giving Bela a new teacher nothing was done about her bullying.  Nothing was done about the principal who called security to keep Bela's grandfather from speaking up for her.  Nothing was done to anyone over the bullying.

It is probably too late for me to try and get Bela in to Idea for kinder - but there has to be a better option than BISD.

When principals are allowed to continue their employment in a school district after the state declares their school a failure, and principals call security on grandparents rather than deal with bullying of small children it is fair to say we have a failed school district.

It blows my mind but things just keep on getting worse.

I am waiting on the FBI agent assigned to the insurance mess to respond to my criminal complaint on Miguel Salinas for covering up the emails which show the cover-up.  I am also waiting on the AG to rule if sending me over a thousand pages of emails which had nothing to do with my request is acceptable.  Until the FBI starts indictments at BISD - our children will have no hope.

Bobby some things never change. These ratas protect each other because they have so much to hide. I wonder if Zendejas still likes to sit close to couches to smell their sweat as she stated to a shocked group of teachers at Hanna back in the day.
Thanks for all you do and good luck with little Bella. GBY

" . . . they decided to open all elementary schools to transfer."

"The poor and most in need children will stay at the failed schools while those with money will go to the better schools. BISD will get sued for this unconstitutional segregation of children based on economic status."

Maybe those with money will transfer to Putegnat Elementary, Resaca Elementary or Southmost Elementary where most of the students are from low-income families but the schools are high performing schools. Wait a minute, why has anybody not done anything about those schools? If the majority of the students are from low-income families, is that segregation of children based on economic status? There is no doubt, Bobby you have a case of a district segregating the students based on economic status.

BobbyWC said...

there is no doubt there are high performing schools in poor districts that is not the point.

The point is the children in the low performing schools who do have access to transportation to the better performing schools will be left behind to suffer at the lower perform schools.

This is fact.

I do not believe for one second state policy mandates such a policy. the previous comment trying to suggest this was nothing short of a pathetic distraction

"Nothing was done about the principal who called security to keep Bela's grandfather from speaking up for her"

Can you give your readers details on the child's grandfather behavior toward the school principal? Was the grandfather verbally aggressive toward the school principal? Did he use profanity? Your reader want to know.

None what so ever and no such complaint was made - in fact as I noted at the time - the AA intervened immediately and had Bela assigned a new teacher - which is the law.

He was there as Bela's advocate. He was told he had no right to speak for Bela even with the mother's permission. He called me after security was called and Bela started to cry. I told him to leave the building. Within minutes the AA told me to tell him to reenter the building and an assistant principal informed him Bela had been assigned a new teacher but that she was at lunch.

They took Bela to McDonalds and returned. Her grandfather put her down in the new classroom and she went to join her new classmates - she is very happy.

Apparently the principal does not know the rules and the grandfather does. The fact Bela was immediately given a new teacher after the principal said no way - proves that point.

The grandfather went prepared and the principal did not like it.

I was later told the principal still has problems with the grandfather which go back to high school - get it. the principal is an immature puck still dealing with highschool.

But you seem okay with the fact Bela was being bullied and no one cared.

Just another distraction looking for an excuse for incompetence. Why did it have to reach the point that Bela told the principal she would not return to school because of the bullying?

Why did a 5 year old have to demand a principal do his job?

Why does this principal still work for BISD?

But nope according you it must all be because the grandfather was unprofessional.

Idiot - newsflash for all of you excuse makers - would the grandfather have even been there had Bela not been refusing to go to school because of the bullying?

That is the issue - but you pathetic people who will always use distractions rather than deal with the question would prefer 5 year olds be terrorized at school than hold administrators accountable.

I am sure that your answer was accepted as requested by your readers if the situation was truthful in such proceeding with the school administration. However, your statement at the end of your answer was not. Nobody wants a child to be terrorized by any child or individual at any time. Yes, the community wants every official accountable for the job given to him or her to perform in this community. However, not every person that request an answer from you is a pathetic individual using distractions in dealing with the situation. In fact such actions on your part make you a bully toward those that contribute to your blog and against those who are unable to defend themselves against any accusations by your blog.

Sorry, I will not allow for excuses for the obvious flaw in your question. the grandfather never would have been there had Bela not been the object of the bully. That is what people who care focus on - and not making excuses for the principal.

Had the principal done his job, the grandfather never would have been there - it is that simple. This is completely lost on you.

The principal only made matters worse by calling security. The grandfather is the only one between the two to show competence. He left the building until the AA could intervene and then he was told to reenter the building - that would not have happened if anyone had any concern that he was a problem.

He went prepared - knew the law and the principal did not like it.

It is that simple

And still not a word from you and why it reached this point. You really do not get it - zero tolerance for bullying.

And for the record, Bela's family asked that the other child's home be investigated to insure she was not in an abusive environment - they understood the child could have just been acting out based on problems at home.

But still not a word from you about the 5 year old who was the victim - very telling to my readers - you simply do not get it - you just want a distraction to defend the indefensible - when a child cries out that they are being bullied you do not call security on the grandparent for complaining, because 30 years ago you did not like him in high school.

Bobby, if the FBI does its job regarding the BISD Insurance mess, do you think that TEA can take control of the district? If not, then our only hope is until the next election?

"Rather than do what any competent administrators would do and remove Luis Segura as the principal of the failed Stell middle school, they decided to open all elementary schools to transfer."

Your readers are flabbergasted on your argument about opening up all elementary schools to transfers based on Stell being a low performing school or failed as you stated. Stell is a Middle School; therefore, what argument do you have corresponding to the opening of the elementary schools for transfers. Why beat around the bush and fail to explain to your readers that the purpose of opening the elementary schools for transfer is to simply keeps the students from transferring to charter schools. Many parents would appreciated the opportunity to have their children attend school closer to where they work or closer to their parents home where the children can walk after school. It has nothing to do with Stell Middle School.

BobbyWC said...

You know why you do not address the issue of poor children nit being able to choose the move?
You have no answer. The Stell issue was just one of three issues

Harmony Science Academy is another option (Aside from IDEA). Harmony has from elementary to high school. It's a small school and small children get a lot of individualized attention.

i hear that ignite schools will be closing in june . all six of them for good. maybe this is a blessing in disguise for BISD to get enrollment up again. also I hear that Cummings middle school with BISD will be closing their campus so that means students in the area will be transferred to another middle school and staff will be assigned to other campuses as well. how sad with both things .

Cata and her worthless teacher friends there ruined the school. Best thing they can do is remove those horrible teachers who have done more harm than god in the last 20 years. BISD should have listened to the last 3 principals.
