THIS IS HOW IT WILL COME DOWN

For the record I support Dan Sanchez for County Judge.  I know those who have never interviewed him hate him.  But I did have an in depth interview with him, and he knows what needs to get done.  He has studied the economic develop model of San Antonio and Bexar County.  He has met with the architects of that success.  He is more than the new Almighty running for mayor claiming he will cut your taxes while spending more on infrastructure.  Dan Sanchez actually has a plan based on studying real successful economic models for development.  This is what we need.  I would hope rather than trash him my fellow bloggers would sit down with him such as I have and learn what he knows about successful models of economic development

CASCOS - VALADEZ

It took a bit but about two months ago I finally got a copy of Cris Valadez's show wherein he is mocking black men and repeatedly using the "N" word.  Gilbert Hinojosa sadly has no idea why the video hurts Cascos or the Republicans.  I think it was August when a source told me Abbott had already made his decision concerning Cascos.  I could not get Hinojosa to care so I decided to hold.

Several weeks ago I took a lie detector test in Houston done by a former FBI agent.  It showed I am telling the truth about the money Cris Valadez offered me to help Cascos fire a county employee.

The Valadez show tape, the lie detector test and the news video  concerning Valadez problems with the BPUB are going to Austin the day Cascos gets sworn it.  It will be a nice start to Governor Elect Abbotts term.  Cascos will keep his job because Abbott does not care - he is above image.  But it will be a day for him to remember - in a not so nice way.

Why are you so worried about Carlos Cascos, Chris Valadez, what you should focus is on who will be elected county judge, I think that it should be a republican not a democrat because a republican won the position for county judge. What do you think about this? BV.. WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD BE A BETTER CANDIDATE Dan Sanchez, or Oscar X Garcia?????

Bobby, will the county commissioners decide on the replacement?

First of all your post us pure bs. My first sentence is focused on county judge with a clear substantive arguement in favor of dan sanchez. Did you not read my first sentence? So it is your position commissioners court should give the position to someone the voters threw out of office. Almost too surreal to be believable

Dan Sanchez would never risk it. And, FYI, it IS a risk.

To wit, an oldie but goodie:
A County Commissioner who has tendered his resignation for the office continues to be a member of the Commissioners Court pursuant to the provisions of Section 17 of Article XVI of the Texas Constitution until his successor has been appointed and has qualified and under these circumstances would be ineligible to be appointed by the Commissioners Court to the office of County Judge because such an appointment would be contrary to public policy.

To be considered for appointment to the County Judge seat, Dan would have to resign HIS seat, his vacancy would then be filled by County Judge (Cascos'!) appointment, and then MAYBE the new 5-member commission could vote Dan in. Does anyone honestly think the current County Judge would let that happen?

David Garza is the man..... He should be considered... He would agree with Judge Cascos on everything.. Plus he supported a Republican. so, its like being Cascos.

Who is the most qualified Republican for the job?

Davud garza is nit well liked by the commission. Its silly to think dems would vote for a rep. Based on anony post i doubt anyone will resign and chance the appointment.

Based on what anony post?

A lot more drama at Senate confirmation hearing

Sánchez as an attorney shouldn't even be sitting on a board that has control of judges salaries. Its another conflict of interest as usual.

Well he can if he follows the rules. As of the time i filed the complaint neither sanchez nor dominguez were in compliance. If they are in compliance now i am fine with thst. I am curious if the county attorneys adviced the of the rule.
