EMMA PEREZ-TREVINO PROVES AGAIN - SHE IS BIASED AND INCAPABLE OF WRITING WITH INTEGRITY

In today's Herald she writes an article which probably took an entire 30 seconds informing the Herald's readers that Armando Villalobos has filed a trial motion for release pending appeal.  What she does not tell her readers is that in his Motion Villalobos outlines his court appointed attorney's ineffective assistance of counsel - to the point of waiving his rights against the advice of other counsel.  According to Emma the Faux Great - not newsworthy.

I knew something was up the second I read he filed it pro se.  Why was it not filed by his court appointed attorney?  Answer - the court appointed attorney is an advocate for someone, but not Villalobos.  He is learning the reality of the real institutional corruption within our criminal justice system.

See page 3 below and entire motion below that.

How the Herald even allows her to continue to report on this story blows my mind.  During the trial any real newspaper would have canned her for trashing Villalobos' lawyers on Facebook, during the trial.

An issue on appeal is a juror was reading her entries and in fact made an entry.  How can she be objective in her reporting when she trashed Villalobos' lawyers  and by her acts has made herself an issue in the appeal.  You never read that in the Brownsville Herald.

My long term readers know I am never about the result.  I care about the process.  How can anyone say the process was followed in Villalobos' case?

Federal Judge Hanen's wife was taking money from Mayor Tony Martinez at the same time Judge Hanen was reviewing evidence which implicated Tony Martinez's son in the Villalobos and Limas cases.  The community should be allowed to hear the one tape played at the trial which included Tony Martinez's son - it will repulse them.

This case is too hot for appeal.  The truth cannot come out and Villalobos is about to learn that once the DOJ decides a cover-up is needed, his court appointed attorney will play along.  He is also about to learn that his appellate motions go to retired former judges who specialize in protecting their peers at the trial level.

Villalobos will do his time because he does not get it - his corruption pales compared to that of the DOJ, Judge Hanen, and US Attorney Robert Pitman. Until his family gets the story to the ABA Journal or a national news service, the truth is not even an option in his case.

Judge Hanen intentionally compromised the entire case when he and his wife Diane Dillard chose to do business with Tony Martinez and accept money to screw over TSC while Judge Hanen was reviewing evidence which implicated Tony Martinez's son.  If Judge Hanen had an ounce of integrity or respect for our laws, he would issue an order voiding Villalobos conviction as compromised by his conduct, and then resign as a federal judge.  He will not.  In a New York second I would trust Villalobos with carrying out justice before I trust federal judge Andrew Hanen.

Villalobos needs to learn, no amount of evidence or law is going to get him out of jail, until Judge Hanen and the DOJ feel the pressure of public outrage over the conduct of Judge Hanen, the DOJ, and Villalobos' court appointed attorney.

When are you going to stop trying to get the Villalobos family to get you those FBI interviews Bobby? Here you again giving them false hope so they can trust you. You are preying on their emotions like a sick predator....my advise to the villaobos family is tpo stay clear of you.....run! When you were covering the Villalobos trial you made it seem like Emma and you were besties....you even said it was an honor to be covering the trial with her...because she was a professional.....you said that Judge Hanen was "awesome"... you were praising his rulings....at one point you were so excited, one would think you climaxed....but now, in Bobby fashion you blast them......just another day in your nutty world...

How am I giving them hope - I am being frank the system is too broken for Villalobos to get justice - how is that hope - it is telling them it is over.

As to Emma, it was during the trial I learned she had blasted Villalobos' lawyers on line. It was after the trial I learned about the juror. It was after the trial I learned about what was going on behind the scenes with Hanen and Martinez.

If I learned all of these things after the trial, how was I to consider them during the trial?

here is a reality check for you on professionalism. When you are in federal court being given the privilege to cover the trial live you do not make waves with the other reporters.

Maybe halfway through the trial Emma made it clear that she was about cover-up. I referenced an ADA and she went off on me to not say anything. She made it clear actual evidence is not her interest.

I had a choice to remain silent and keep the peace or create an uncomfortable situation. Any professional knows you go with keeping quite and not taking the bait. This was judge Hanen's court and he did not need drama among the reports during the trial. The focus was the trial, the public interest and not the reporters. A professional stays focused on the trial and public interest while remaining silent about they are observing with the reporters.

Emma went off on me for accepting a bottle of water from Villalobos' lawyers while we were waiting on a verdict. I was dehydrated. We could not leave the building. I cannot drink water fountain water.

Not a day went by where she did not complain how I had access to both the AUSA's and Villalobos attorneys. Villalobos attorneys would not give her the time of day because of her biased coverage - so she trashed them.

It is about respecting the court - something which eludes Emma - her bias guides her.

It seems to me you have an agenda to keep Villalobos in jail or to insure the FBI 302's are never revealed.

They will never be revealed. Villalobos will be in jail a good 5 years before he realizes how he was played on that one - by then no one will care if he releases them.

Villalobos is where he belongs because is played the issue with bad intent instead of justice.

His time to use the 302's has long passed.

There is nothing he can do but sit in prison.

His family is not going to help him because he has made it clear he does not want it.

Whatever deal he cut he will not undo.

Take off that "unbought" voice the community....you clearly are compromised!

no my coverage of Saenz and his corruption started before he banned me from Press Conferences. He knew on that day I had the documents in hand to ask the questions which would have shown he was full of shit and in fact fabricating charges.

he did not want it to come out in front of the mainstream press

I love your comment but I cannot approve it for the language towards Emma - I would love proof about these so called lunches - the one with Judge Hanen if proven could get Marc Rosenthal freed.

All the powers that be need to do is interview the wait staff at fajitaville. Especially the ladies that take you up to the second floor in the elevator.

BobbyWC said...

There are two problems with your information - one you assume the same staff is still there, and two, I am going to go to Corpus to interview people

http://www.valleycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=900577#.U_FiZGK9KK0 The AUSA's not wanting ex FBI agent Miles Hutchinson in the court did not stop him from speaking .i wonder if the Juror in question was privy to this comment ; and what the Fed's were trying to hide there?

Then you need to provide Marc Rosenthal's attorney an affidavit while naming the two waitresses

David L. Botsford
Botsford & Roark
1307 West Avenue
Austin, Texas 78701
512/479-8030 (Tel)
512/479-8040 (Fax)

Hanen's conduct will be an issue in the appeal

Your affidavit will help with that.
