SPURS RULE

Miami fans suck - they walked out on their team with 3 minutes to go. I love the Spurs but the Heat must have felt like shit to see their fans walking out.  No wonder they got their asses kicked with chicken shit fans who walk out.

You are right Miami fans suck. They are just bandwagon fans. Go Spurs!

It's not just miami heat fans that try to get a jump start on traffic after they see the game is lost......last night's game was over way before the fans started lesving. After Duncan and Pops leave.....no one will follow the team just like before.....no history besides the Duncan era.

Duncan and Pop joined the team in 1997 - that is a long run - how you can make your comment only makes you a sore loser.

Now I would like to see Tim as the new head coach but I think he is too emotionally attached to the game to be head coach - but the owners realizing his value - if Pop leaves they may just give him a year to see what happens.

And the second string again proved themselves last night - so Pop has already build a new team to replace Duncan and others as they leave

You couldn't be more wrong on all counts.....I couldn't care less about the spurs so I am not a sore loser....don't care about heat either. ..enjoyed the way the spurs played last night because I love basketball and it was a thing of beauty....history I was referring to was Celtics; Lakers. ...teams that continue to win championships with different stars on different eras.....Spurs got lucky on the old lottery and got Duncan....that can no longer happen as the n.b.a. changed lottery rules. And no; pops has not built another team...Duncan holds them together as you will see in the not so distant future.

So watching the second string kick butt last night was like a Marian vision?

The second string is good - damn good - Duncan may retire but he will still be with the Spurs - while maybe not head coach - he will hold a position.

The Spurs are a team - Miami Heat are not. James thinks he is a one man operation with a bunch of bullies playing alongside him. The player who elbowed Parker showed who and what the Heat really are - they are not a team - they are James with a bunch of bullies tagging along.

The game gets easier when you enter the game 20 points ahead.....the spurs reserves play well in their system but are not damn good....James thinking he's a one man operation? Come on! How many assists does he get; great defense plus getting everyone involved. ...Chalmers hurting Parker was a punk move ( didn't see game) but to smear the team because of his act? Ironic coming from a fan of a team that had the worst punk and cheater ever....Bowen! Bobby love your blog; follow you everyday and I think what you do helping others is admirable but we'll have to agree to disagree on your Spurs.

When you watch the game it is clear James is playing as James and not as a member of the Heat - he may be getting a lot of help - but you can see he plays for James not the Heat - this is never good. It is very clear a handful of players are going along with him and I think it is hurting Miami - I really did feel bad for them when their fans started to walk out -

Look I have been a Mets fan since 1963 and always will be - but because money has replaced the Team concept the Mets have not been a team for a very long time - it is a group of men showing up to play baseball all by chance on the same team - but they do not play as a team.

If this ever happens to the Spurs I will still be a fan but they will no longer be the Spurs they are today. This unfortunately is happening to far too many teams. Money can take a team only so far. When you are down and fighting to survive having a strong TEAM spirit can be more important than money.

And trust we can agree I have seen things by the Spurs which I call poor sportsmanship. I was mad when Manu intentionally threw himself on the floor to make it look like he was hit when he was not. Hey Manu is my man - he is my favorite - but I still expect professionalism - from both teams and all players - I will never defend any player even on the Spurs who plays dirty - so on that we can agree.
