THE EARLY VOTE AND MAIL BALLOTS HOPEFULLY BY 7:05 P.M.

UPDATE:  IF YOU CLICK ON CAMERON COUNTY ELECTIONS WEB PAGE WITH MAIL BALLOTS AND ELECTION DAY VOTES - THE RESULTS REMAIN THE SAME - LEO LOPEZ IS DOWN BY 49 VOTES - I DO NOT KNOW IF THESE NUMBERS ARE FINAL

Chris Davis I am certain is ready to release the numbers, but by law if certain people are not present he cannot release the numbers.  So if they are not up by 7:05 p.m., it is because someone failed to show on time

Okay guys - to all of you mean spirited poor sportsmanship people your negative comments against the losers will be rejected.  It takes a lot of courage to run a campaign.  I many not have liked all of the candidates, but I respect them immensely for putting themselves through the process.

EARLY  VOTING WINNERS - Does not include mail ballots

David Alameel - US Senate - based on statewide numbers calling this election - congrats
Joe Rivera
Eric Garza
Alex Dominguez
Jonathan Gracia  Calling this election for Gracia - congrats
Mary Esther Garcia Calling this election for Mary Esther Garcia - congrats
Sylvia Perez

Mind you the above is only Cameron county. For the full returns on the statewide results click here f or Dems and here for Republicans

SOME PRE-RESULTS ANALYSIS

People keep on asking me to call the races - beyond saying Joe Rivera will win for the county judge position, I an have idea.  With the polls ready to close in less than 30 minutes I am willing to make that call.

SYLVIA PEREZ VS. ARNOLD FLORES

Sylvia has the blind female vote advantage and Joe Rivera political machine.  Arnold Flores has the fact so many people really dislike Sylvia.  As the early numbers are showing, Sylvia seems to be heading to a victory - but it is still too early

DOMINGUEZ VS. LOPEZ

Months ago I posted an article saying Alex Dominguez gets an A+ for name recognition.  This one issue may carry him to victory.  But Leo Lopez gets an A+ for targeting the actual people who vote.  He did a lot of mailers to the primary voters.

The name recognition may carry the day for all of the blind voters who make up their minds at the poll - but it is any one's guess

BEGUM V. GRACIA

Because she has been running for two years Yolanda Begum has the advantage of name recognition.  She also has the advantage of the blind female vote.  This is very real.  I spent several hours over across from Burns Elementary school with the Eric Garza campaign.  Apparently they have the largest voter turnout so most of the campaigns were there in full force.  Well an Eric Garza voter told me she voted for Yolanda Begum because she really did not know much about either candidate and as a woman she voted for Yolanda.  But then she said after she left she remembered she was told to vote for Jonathan Gracia

Jonathan gets an A+  for going directly to the primary voters.  He did a lot of mailers and a lot of door to door. Being a lawyer will also carry some votes his way. In the end they each have strengths in how they handled their campaign so it is impossible to predict the winner

GARCIA V. AVILA

This is the battle of two strong political machines.  Which machine is stronger?  We will know in less than 20 minutes

ORTIZ V. GARZA

If Joe Rivera's political machine turns out Garza will win.  But Ortiz has the blind female vote advantage.  Both candidates ran honorable campaigns and should be proud of their campaigns.

TO THE COMMUNITY

Guys, give the winners a chance to prove themselves or fail before you start throwing stones.  I do not care who wins any of the elections.  I will give them a chance to prove themselves before passing judgment on their performance.

Guys I have no idea why the mail ballot results are not yet posted. I can assure you Chris Davis is way too busy to be taking calls.

I am calling several campaigns to see if they have been given a reason

CAVA needs to start looking at those republican races, it seems as though they now have the politicarios harvesting those mail in ballots.

I have already documented this twice - it is a Tea Party type PAC in Austin sending applications to donors who qualify to vote by mail. This is being done state wide. There are no politiqueras working for the Republicans in Cameron county.

I can document this a 1000 times and you people will keep making the same bogus accusations.
