I have said this before - I have lived the most privileged life imaginable.  God has entrusted in me a journey of many trial and tribulations.  In my heart he has embroidered the "Parable of Job"

Faith is not believing that the man Joshua [aka Jesus] died for our sins, it is in knowing his message carries salvation in the form of peace of mind through the knowledge God guides us if we only take the time to listen.

While I left the Christian Science Church a long time ago, because I believe the Church lost its way in stagnation, I have always lived by Mary Baker Eddy's poem "Shepard Show me How to Go"

My journey through these last 56 years with today starting year 57, has been gifted because I learned early the message in Ms. Eddy's words - If I stray it is because I am not listening - with open ears the path is not hard to follow - it just takes faith in knowing God will never hand you more than you can handle - and God knows the journey which is best suited for you.  If you live your life believing you can only be happy in the journey you choose for yourself you will fail.  When you stray from the path, if you listen God will get you back on the path.

Today after breakfast I am off to buy Bela new sneakers and then lunch with my nephew.  Unfortunately I do have to work - but life is what it is.

Happy birthday Bobby. I wish more people were as passionate about their believes as you are. After the death of my 6 year old daughter I lost my faith. Today I can only say everything happens for a reason.
