THE ICING OF BROWNSVILLE

Before some anti-science Republican states this is proof of no global warming, you are wrong - it is proof of global warming. As the poles melt the Gulf Stream is getting colder thereby making areas whose weather is controlled by the Gulf Stream colder.

You don't have to be anti-science or Republican to refute the man-made Global Warming hypothesis. Despite what renown scientist Al Gore and/or Barack Obama stated in last night's State of the Union, facts are lacking in the pro-global warming propaganda. The Global Warming movement is a thinly veiled attempt at world wide wealth distribution and nothing more. When the so-called facts began to be empirically refuted, Global Warming morphed into Climate Change. And, a better term for climate change is "Weather". As we have always stated here in Texas, If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute.

Richard Siegmund Lindzen (born February 8, 1940) is an American atmospheric physicist, known for his work in the dynamics of the middle atmosphere, atmospheric tides and ozone photochemistry. He has published more than 200 scientific papers and books. From 1983, until he retired in 2013, he was Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[2] He was a lead author of Chapter 7, 'Physical Climate Processes and Feedbacks,' of the IPCC Third Assessment Report on climate change. He has critized the scientific consensus about climate change and what he states are political pressures on climate scientists to conform to what he has called climate alarmism. (sourced from Wikipedia)
(In other words, he doesn't have the C- average undergraduate GPA of Al Gore, nor the unknown academic credentials of Barack Obama. He is a true climate scientist.)

Dr. Lindzen said, "You have politicians who are being told if they question this, they are anti-science. We are trying to tell them, no, questioning is never anti-science."

I can remember my grandfather telling me about a great hurricane in the early 1930's that destroyed a good portion of the Valley and then shortly there after a freeze that killed the majority of the citrus trees all the way down to the coast. Was that because ice had melted somewhere in the polar caps causing the gulf stream to cool? And even if it was, was it man caused? I remember clearly my Weekly Reader in the 1970 talking about the impending Ice Age. I'm sure you remember that to. It's funny how we let our political leanings influence our overall fact gathering. It is undisputed that the original British Global Warming propagandist have selectively ignored and even fudged data that didn't promote their hypothesis.
I'm not a climate scientist, so I won't go as far as to say we have nothing to be concerned about; however I will say that anyone who says the science is settled is just kidding themselves.

Over time I have made clear my frustration with the Republicans is the denial of global warming.

I have been the first to note that global warming and cooling is natural. It is because of this scientific fact I have expressed my frustration with the anti-science Republicans on the issue.

On the cause I have said many times - forget whether it is caused by pollution - the health consequences caused by pollution should be enough to want us to change direction.

Try living in Dallas on a Red Ozone day - kids and seniors cannot go out. I could not breath.

So in my view we can assume global warming is a natural process of the planet independent of man, but we cannot ignore the effects pollution has on our health - or are you going to dispute that also

as to the general science - I agree both sides can spin it to be what ever they want - but we do know for a fact the planet cools and heats up as part of its natural process of evolution - oops is the word evolution also a bad word?

So you have interviewed every one at the DA's office and know they will tell you the truth - do you realize how stupid you sound to my readers.

the leaks at the DA's office are massive.

Do you think that employees that leak information are unethical, and should they be fired?

BobbyWC said...

This is a time honored tradition. the fact of the matter is DAs and DOJ selectively leak information every day

Leaking information is certainly unethical and often not reliable. It could be that information coming from the DAs office may be false information to cause a reaction from your blog. Be careful not to fall into a trap.

Bring on them carbon taxes, that ought to slow it down.
