RENE OLIVEIRA REPRIMANDED IN LIMAS AFFAIR

From the State Bar of Texas:

"On Sept. 6, 2013,
Rene O.Oliveira

[#15254700], 58, of Brownsville,  accepted a public reprimand.

An evidentiary panel of the District 12 Grievance Committee found Oliveira engaged in an ex parte communication  with a judge without  notice to and outside the presence of counsel for the opposing party. Oliveira violated Rule 3.05(b) and agreed to pay $1,500 in attorneys’ fees and direct expenses.

Now of course McHale will probably print poor Rene is a victim of a homosexual communist conspiracy. I have several complaints by lawyers claiming certain judges continue to engage in this practice with their friends - specifically on the golf course - and then miraculously new cases fall in that judge's court eventhough a related case is already filed in Judge Lopez's court.

I am working on this issue.

RENE OLIVEIRA - AN EASY TARGET FOR THE RIGHT LATINA

On Thursday Wendy Davis will announce for governor of Texas. She has the commitment of the national Democratic Party in terms of money. Until I see the first polling, it will be difficult to assess her chances. But she will bring to the table the issue of the so called "war against women."

Independent women will vote for her. The question is, how will this sense of empowerment by women impact other elections. We know in Cameron county that a financed woman will beat a man. For example the election for Cameron county District Clerk is Rosie Sheldon-Soleto's to lose. If she keeps it clean I predict she will win. There are two good issues against Rene Oliviera. One involves his open support for discrimination against women and healthcare, and the UTB/TSC nightmare.

Some years ago, Rene Oliveira introduced legislation which would have forced insurance companies to approve a certain cardiac test for men, but not women. My long term readers know how I feel about this. I am tired of the attitude in the medical community that heart disease is a male thing. If reminded - women will be angry with Rene Oliviera.

The backdrop to this is the sense of empowerment Wendy Davis will bring to the election.

The second issue is the UTB/TSC debacle. What we learned during this bloody divorce is , when the partnership was formed Rene Oliveira had put into the agreement that TSC would only be paid rent if the legislature funded the rent payments. Year after year Rene Oliveira sat back and allowed one of the wealthiest university system in the world to rape some of the poorest people in the country.

Rene Oliveira is a DINOLINO. Rene Oliveira survives because people do not know who he really is. A well educated and financed Latina, I am convinced, can and will beat him in the primaries. The question is, is there such a Latina out there. Cameron county has done a good job in electing women. I'm not sure one of the caliber I am looking for has been elected to date. But there is someone out there - the question is, can we find her and get her to run.

Why does it has to be a "Latina". How about a well educated, honest, sincerely person who is willing to bring progress to the community.

I would support anyone qualified who could run a competent campaign. But based on voting patters a highly qualified Latina would have a better change at beating him.

John shergold ran against him in 2008 in democratic primary to no avail.

jessica puente bradshaw is not a highly qualified latina.

Why not? And Rene Oliveira is?

A campiagn which merely references the sanction would be worthless - it has to be more.

The key is to educate the people how he screwed the TSC taxpayers out of rent from the State of Texas, and how he tried to force insurance companies to provide cardia care for men and not women on certain testing.

These are real issues which will resonate with people and not distractions

He may be the big fish in the Limas case

Th sanction only proves what I have been saying for years - the State Bar is one large criminal enterprise - they did the near minimum because of who Rene is - any no body attorney would have gotten hit a lot harder.

No the big fish are Saenz, Hinojosa, and several sitting judges.
