TEC OPENS INVESTIGATION
AGAINST PRESAS-GARCIA

NEWFLASH:  My first call came last night - I have now received several calls - Saavedra was not one bit happy with me contacting the Archbishop.  She will announce on Tuesday her resignation from the BISD Board of Trustees.  I cannot wait to hear her lies about why she waited until Tuesday.  Remember, she bought her house in September of 2012.  She was informed of her employment at St. Margaret Mary's over a month ago.  Careful with what you say Christina - it can only make it worse. - Best to say nothing.

It is for the community to demand a special election be held in November.  The state is already paying to have all the polls open for the constitutional amendments.  If we do not demand a special election, then Escobedo and Powers will be hand picking a puppet.  I have confirmed from several sources Escobedo and Powers worked together to initially get Saavedra to wait until the end of August to resign.  People, we can win this if we demand the trustees announce a special election. "No to Escobedo and Powers Puppet, Yes to an Independent Voice" is the campaign slogan.

[side note, I do have one more post this morning which I want to be my lead post.  It is not political, but  for me it is the most important post I do every year - please check back for the post]

The complaint involves two issues.  Presas-Garcia failed to disclose how much money she paid Montoya for her ads.  Remember, I also I printed out nearly 2 inches of propaganda he has printed for her.  I have also provided the FBI a document which shows Presas-Garcia's payments to Montoya.

Now that I have a formal complaint open, today I will send them the Mary Rey deposition wherein she testifies about the $1,000 being funnelled to Montoya and not being reported.  Mary, if you are reading this, a sworn affidavit would be so much better.  Contact me at bobbywc58@yahoo.com

To Cata, do not fret Luis Saenz - he has your back - no amount of evidence against you will ever get him to do his job.  Montoya keeps a smile on his face - so no fret.

The document I will release on August 12, 2013, will prove Presas-Garcia pays Montoya to trash her fellow board members, Carl Montoya, and Baltazar Salazar.  This my friends form a basis for the board to file a removal action against Presas-Garcia.  Oh, what they have on Luci Longoria is great - if we had a community law firm in Brownsville, removal actions could be filed against Presas-Garcia and Longoria within days.

Another problem the TEC is investigating is her failure to disclose how much was refunded for some Brownsville Herald articles.

Not in the complaint, but with the FBI is the $3,500 loan she made to herself, but failed to refund herself.  This is not illegal.  But here is the scoop - who ever heard of a candidate not doing a post campaign fundraiser to pay back campaign loans?  Yes, the FBI can see that her failure to do a post campaign fundraiser raises serious questions about the source of the money.  In my opinion she did not do a post campaign fundraiser because it was not her money.  I also do not believe her parents donated over $3,000.

Their house does not indicate that they are the type people who have this kind of money.  I did research on the old Herald articles when Presas-Garcia claimed her mothers house as her residence.  The archives are gone.  But my recollection is, her statements then would prove her parents do not have that kind of money.

The truth rarely prevails - but sometimes we get lucky - this is only an investigation - they could find no wrongdoing

Bobby,Do you have any thoughts on Judge Lopez suing Abel Limas and family ?

BobbyWC said...

yes, - that is my deposition answer - short and direct

I have not seen the actual lawsuit - I suspect it is probably 20+ pages and I do not care to buy it - but I will try and read it at the court house.

If I can report on it without having to post it - I may do something - I would just rather my readers be allowed to read the lawsuit themselves

FYI: The deadline for a political subdivision to order an 11/5 election is Monday, August 26th (not Friday, August 23rd, as written in your post).

"Escobedo cut a deal with Christina Saavedra that she will not have to resign until August 23, 2013. The date is significant because it then makes it too late for BISD to be part of the November election."

I never said the deadline was the 23rd - I said it would then be too late to put BISD on the ballot - If she resigned at 5 p.m. on the 23rd BISD could not call a meeting in time to have BISD put on the ballot - the time frame between the 23rd and 26th is too short.
