IN OTHER NEWS AND COMMENTARY

NEWS FLASH - I TRIED TO POST THIS BEFORE BINGO

The Internet went down so I could not post it - I was running real late for bingo because we got out of court late.  Running late had be buy a winning card - I have won the $150 two  weeks in a row - this week I got it by myself - last week there were three of us.

PAT ALMIGHY CASE

Judge Lopez has removed herself from the case and Judge Banales as been assigned - people who pay attention to the stories know Judge Banales and Juan Guerra, Pat's attorney, are anything but friends.

GIVEN REALITY WHY WOULD ANY BLOGGER TRYING TO  CREATE A NEW FORM OF NEWS REPORTING  DUPLICATE THE SYSTEM USED BY JOURNALISTS.

The American people are fed up with the endless fairy tales published by journalist under the guise it is journalism.

Here is a simple fact - the industry bankrupted itself, nearly every major city went from having two major papers to only one.  Who in their right mind would adopt these people's standards as a standard to be followed - imps and drunks to say two.

Huffington Post December 2012

"Another poll released on Monday revealed the public less-than-warm opinion of the press.
A new Gallup poll on perceived honesty and ethical standards found that journalists possess a dismally low rating. When asked to rate a variety of professions on having "very high" to "very low" honesty and ethical standards, pollsters found that below 25 percent of Americans have positive feelings about the honesty of journalists. The results are from a survey distributed between November 26-29.
In fact, journalists had a lower rating than bankers, chiropractors and psychiatrists. On the other hand, journalists had a higher rating than lawyers, senators, members of Congress, and cars salespeople.
The results are consistent with findings of polls past. In August, a Daily Kos poll showed that a staggering 78 percent of individuals said they possess an unfavorable view of the political press. A Gallup poll released in July found that confidence in television news hit a new low, with just 21 percent of adults saying they possessed a "great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in the institution."

MY COMMENTS

Given the reality the news media has bankrupted itself and the American people do not trust them - anyone, someone - tell me why in God's name I would want to use them as a standard?
I just checked my numbers - through the ceiling - I am already past last Thursday's record readers. When I say readers , I am saying people who signed on at least once. My system gives me new readers based on IP addresses who have never signed on ever. The total number of people who have signed on at least once during the day. And the total hits based on multiple visits.

My readership based on signing on at least once has now more than tripled.

A BIG BEAR HUG THANK YOU

Don't mind the other blogs and their petty criticism that what you're doing isn't journalism. Give me a break. Where are their Pulitzers? What makes them an authority on journalism? Sounds more like jealousy to me. Keep doing what you're doing - you're meeting a niche that no one else is.
