ANOTHER RECORD DAY - THANKS

Tomorrow will be the meat and potatoes where Villalobos one by one will deny every accusation.  When I checked my numbers at 6:45 I was way past yesterday's total record read.  Readers - email everyone you know to sign on tomorrow - by noon Villalobos will be done with his testimony.  The goal is  then for the government to do a short cross [so they promise].  If everything goes well, the jury will get the case Friday morning after closing arguments and the jury instruction.

Last night I noted how the DOJ failed to nail Rabb on the issue of the mandamus - today the DOJ did its job.  I know for a fact all counsel are reading the BV and using it to help with trial.

I am pleased with my readers.  My goal was to put you into the courtroom and that is what I have done.

To all the new readers - you need to stay with the BV past the verdict.  You will learn about corruption at city hall - the school  district, etc.

The BV is document driven - You will learn I upload  documents to my posts which support the stories.  I have learned my readers like this feature.

Back to dinner, then painting,  then ironing, then 10 laps in the pool and then bed.

I totally agree with your comment, but right now I am being extra careful - but I think I made your point very clear in today's post.

I think its wrong that you can give your opinion and post it, and you have to approve ours, lack of professionals.

Here is some reality - I am in the courtroom and you are not. I make a comment my name is on it - people can measure any interest I have in the comment.

Since you are not in the courtroom you do not know the facts - I have had defense and prosecution attorneys tell me my rendition of the trial is very impressive and accurate

The above goes to the comment I rejected - I have praised both sides and pointed out flaws in both sides - so your comment is pure BS.

Further, you do not even post which comment I made which is not based on the evidence -

My name is all over this - I am the moderator - I set out rules - other than your choice- you could have set up a blog - gone through the expense and publish anything you wanted.

I am taking great pride in the fact all sides are being nice to me and making compliments about my work - for both Villalobos attorneys and DOJ attorneys telling me I am doing a great job to me means - I am getting it right

I am certain there is a mistake or two -

Today when I was not sure about a name - I checked with the AUSA who did the cross and then twice made the correction so my readers would have it right

When this trial is over would you consider exposing all the dirty politics of the system and all the players via a petition for us all to sign that would be used to demand a thorough investigation into certain attorneys, judges, commissioners?

that is where you are wrong, I am in the court room, and I am listening to all details.

you know what, you are correct, you set up the rules.
thank you for telling me, my comments and opinions are bs.... I think its safe to say that that means bull shit... correct? I appreciate your kind words.
I on the other hand still think I am entitle to my opinion, and would have liked a bit more of respect. you need not to post this, this was not meant to insult, but I guess you took it as such, and even stated that you were in the court room and I was not. see how wrong people can be.
thank you, good night!

you have become the 13th juror for each side. Both parties are using your blog to make sure that they made the points they needed to make with each witness. Trial Attorney's always want to know how they are doing. As far as I can tell You have picked up on the important points of each persons testimony. It is as close to having a daily transcript copy these attorney's will get with out paying for it. I am not in the courtroom and appreciate your attempt to be fair to both sides.

First of all - comment two above - you have yet to tell me where I misreported the facts - anyknow who knows me knows either side can come to me and say I think you got this wrong - I got it wrong about Ricones uncle being Oscar de la Fuente - I posted the correction twice so that my readers knew I made a mistake

People are not going to come to this sight and tell me to get my fact right without so much as telling me what I got wrong

The BV does not play that way - further - I trust my readers - they know I am staying in the middle - they know I am equally point out issues on both sides - I am not one to tell people what to think - when they can read it for themselves

If you are new to the BV you will learn in other stories as much as possible I try to post documents to support the stories - this allows you the reader to decide what is in the document without me telling you - you get to tell me I got it wrong by pointing to the document.

I never have a problem correcting a mistake

I know for a fact thousands of people in Cameron county will know this was a fair trial.

I am personally on the fence about the case - I clearly see both sides. Once the jury is in deliberations I will comment on how this case can go either way.

oh, guys - do not worry - once there is a verdict - you will hear from me - but you will not hear me challenge any ruling of dismissal by judge hanen or the verdict - this has been a very fair case.

This is the most important thing - I will respect the jury verdict - if he is found not guilty I will accept the verdict - if he is found guilty I will accept the verdict.

I trust the jury will do the right thing

I too, will agree with the jury's verdict, and have the utmost respect for Judge Hanen.I think we can agree that this is just the tip of the iceberg and corruption is running rapid through the court system and the city for that manner.I believe we all have a duty to expose injustice and demand the right to fair trials and honest judges.I also believe that with your expertise in Constitutional law that you would be an exeptional educator to the public in this area, but I believe there is power in numbers. So please think about a petition for the sake of Justice.Just my very humble opinion.

I enjoy reading your blog n how informative n fair it is. I am happy to read about someone who is very educated who actually uses it for good and points out how other people take advantage of the system that is meant to help us regular hard working people. Thank you. A very happy reader.

the positive comments from the readers is feeding me - but it really pleases me how the attorneys on both sides are treating me - both sides have told me they are impressed with my rendition of the trial

But to be fair - testimony is fast - sometimes we do not agree on what is being said - the other reporters and I talk and sometimes we are not sure what was said - with all of the objections and arguing - for example among the three of us I am the only one who heard Noe Garza is Rincones uncle - that is why I had to ask the AUSA during lunch to get the name right

Any knowledge as to why Noe Garza didn't testify?

I so agree with you, the trial has been Fair.
Both sides Have had the opportunity.
and Honorable Judge Hanen Has been Fair at all times.
and yes you have exposed all facts said on trial at all times, I guess what upset me was how you ended todays posting. Assuming that Mr. Villalobos was going to deny all charges, As I was reading it the first time, I understood By mistake that you were been impartial and unfair by that comment . Tomorrow will be meat and potatoes day, Where villalobos is going to deny all charges. Its safe to assume that If he made a plea of innocent that will happen. thank you for informing us, and I apologize If I misunderstood your comment.
All well done.

I must make a comment about BV and Bobby W. I have exchanged comments with BV and had many not posted in the past. I believe Bobby does his best to be fair to everyone. I believe that we should be able to agree to disagree at times and have respect for one another.
Even though I haven't seen eye to eye in every occasion with BV, I do respect BV's attempts to not let biased and unsubstantiated comments to pass.
Kind Regards to all!
