THE FBI WARNING VIRUS IS A SCAM AND EASILY REMOVED

You can get this virus just about anywhere.  There are certain international newspapers which are not favorable to the US which I read.  Every so often when I click on the paper my computer will be redirected and then to this screen.  It alleges anything from copyright infringement to viewing illegal pornography.  The FBI is the largest purveyor of child pornography in the world.  It is all under the guise of catching those who view it.  The FBI's program on this is issue is as misguided and stupid as the gun policy, started under Bush II and continued under Obama called Fast and Furious.  The FBI has the ability to shut down every child porn cite on the planet - let any country which wants to complain complain - screw them.

THE GOOD NEWS IS, IT IS EASY TO FIX

To fix it at no cost you must have Norton anti-virus on your computer.  I am the first to say Norton is a con on the issue.  If you play their game you have to pay extra to have them remove the viruses their program failed to detect.  Where is their incentive to catch all of the viruses if they know you will call in and pay to have them remove viruses they failed to detect.

HERE IS THE FREE WAY

You must google - not yahoo - Norton eraser. Yahoo takes you to options which actually can ad more viruses or malware or spyware to your  computer.

Here is the link you get when you google

You must have Norton anti-virus to use this free online service.  This morning I was reading a Cuban paper and got thrown over to the FBI warning page.

You cannot just google this link once the FBI warning page hits your computer

You must cut all electricity to your computer -  wait about 5 minutes.  When your computer restarts you will get an option to restart normally or in safe mode with networking - move the arrows on your key board to safe mode with networking.

Once the Internet link to your computer appears you can get into IE without problems.  do the google search for Norton Eraser and run the program.  It takes less than 5 minutes and your computer is clean.  It will the ask for you to restart your computer.  It is during the restart that the computer is erasing the virus.  If you are asked to approve a program you are not aware of other than Norton Eraser - say no.  The virus is trying to reattach.

Good Luck
