DEALING WITH THE POLL WATCHERS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT

The key factor which has a lot of people concerned in the up and coming city election is not so much the mail ballots, but the seniors voting from vans.  It is my hope these vans will be declared voting places thereby making it illegal for the driver to pass out campaign material or have any campaign information on the van.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE

Chris Davis needs to ask his legal counsel to outline all of the criminal provisions related to the election.  He then needs to call a meeting of the DA, the police and poll watchers.  The poll watchers need to be educated in what to look for in terms of criminal conduct while at the polling place.  There needs to be a very clear understanding  between the DA, police and Chris Davis as to who is to be called if criminal activity is observed.  The one place we do not need this information popping up first is on the blogs.  The poll watchers need a clear directive about who to call when they see the law being broken.  One phone call will end this practice dead in its place.

You got to be patient, these entities take a few years to gather evidence, or stop by the Brownsville FBI office and ask for the
