HERALD REPORTING MARC ROSENTHAL TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND JAILED PENDING THE REMAINDER OF HIS TRIAL

"U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen ordered Marc G. Rosenthal jailed pending trial for violation of his pretrial release at a hearing Friday in Brownsville."

Source:  Brownsville Herald

There will be no hiding this from the jury. I think Marc Rosenthal, by and through his contempt for the terms of his pretrial release, has now guaranteed his conviction.

The impact of the jailing of Marc Rosenthal will be an issue on appeal. Judge Hanen did the right thing, but it will now be an issue on appeal as to whether or not it biased the jury. The court of appeals will rule, Marc Rosenthal did it to himself - equity demands clean hands before you can complain - Marc Rosenthal's hands on this issue are all but clean.

This is where being an attorney is so impossible. You can be a brilliant attorney, but when your client is an arrogant asshole, all of the skill in the world as a lawyer will not save your client.

There is no equity in a criminal case, moron

You missed the point - and the judge will view it as a question of equity when - which is basically to say - Marc did it to himself - you need to learn about reading for substance
