BV BROKE IRS STORY ON MARK SOSSI ON JANUARY14, 2013 - BUT THERE IS MORE
WHAT WE HAVE IS A CITY COMMISSION AND MAYOR DETERMINED TO TAKE NO ACTION AGAINST CITY EMPLOYEES FOR UNETHICAL CONDUCT -

WE BEGIN BY THROWING JOHN VILLARREAL AND ROSE GOWEN OUT OF OFFICE IF THEY REFUSE TO MAKE THIS AN ISSUE IN THE MAY ELECTIONS

What I should have done was gone down to the court house to get the documents to prove the IRS has problems with Mark Sossi.  I now feel I can say the IRS search is part of a greater investigation to determine if Mark Sossi is hiding assets.

The story here is not just the IRS liens.  Small business people have IRS liens - a dime a dozen - you get behind a year or two a couple of thousand of dollars and then pay it off during better years - but you do not live high on the hog while not paying your taxes - year after year after year

Here we see a pattern on not paying year after year after year, if the IRS claims are proven correct.  I am just including 2 years - there are many more.

BEN NEECE SANCTIONED BY THE TEXAS COMMISSION ON JUDICIAL CONDUCT AND THE DWI PROBLEM WHICH IS BROWNSVILLE

If you are an elected official or friend of Ben Neece, drinking and driving is legal in Brownsville.  Our entire DWI system in Cameron county is broken.  Over 20 years ago in Dallas all DWI defendants who wanted a plea bargain had to plead guilty and accept a guilty verdict on their record.  Everyone got two years probation along with fines, and in some cases restrictions on driving or mandatory counselling.  Not in Brownsville when you have Ben Neece deciding on the charges.

My long term readers know Ben Neece converted what should have been felony DWI's for Juan Montoya into misdemeanors,.  Eventually the Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct Sanctioned Ben Neece for allowing his office to be used for the benefit of Juan Montoya's problems.

Our  esteemed city commission turned a blind eye to what in any other city would have meant the termination of his contract with the city.  But not Brownsville - it means nothing

THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO A CITY COMMISSION WHICH ALWAYS TURNS A BLIND EYE TO BAD AND UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR

WHO KILLED ROXANA-VIRIDIANA-SAIS?

This is the story of the minor killed from drinking and  driving - something she learned from our inept leaders - and nothing has changed.

See Original Story on BV

If the faces of the city of Brownsville's legal representatives are putrid, what message does that send about the city of Brownsville itself and to our youth?

Don't worry guys, this city commission will probably declare a holiday in the name of Mark Sossi and Ben Neece and then build a new municipal building named in your honor.

THIS ELECTION MATTERS

I get that a lot of people do not like Charlie Cabler - but these people fail to understand just how dangerous politics is in Brownsville - Charlie Cabler's hands are tied as to what he can and cannot do out of fear of being fired.  It is one thing to not be competent all of the time out of fear of losing your job, but yet another thing to get caught red handed in unethical conduct, and not being held accountable for it.

It is sad, Ben Neece and Mark Sossi who are both an embarrassment to the legal profession and the city remain untouched by this hopelessly corrupt mayor and city commission, but Charlie Cabler and Pete Gonzales fear for their jobs if Tony Martinez wins a majority come May 2013.

The politics of the city promotes Mark Sossis and Ben Neeces.  It is almost as if it is our birth right to be bad.  the politics of the city justify firing people like Charlie Cabler and Pete Gonzales for not playing along with the corruption.

In any normal city Mark Sossi and Ben Neece would be fired - When you look to the history of both these men, you have no choice but to be disgusted - so why does our city commission remain so silent?

It is time Mark Sossi and Ben Neece are called into executive session and asked to explain the volumes of documents against them.   If they do not have a satisfactory explanation it is well past the time to fire them.

BUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THIS ELECTION

We will ignore all issues and instead vote based on stupid variables and distractions which have nothing to do with moving Brownsville forward.

If Ben Neece is so unethical why don't you show us this mythical sanction? If Neece had a sanction they would have suspended him like they did last time. Cabler has nothing to fear if he suspended Neece with cause. Cabler nor the Judicial Conduct Commission have no reason to sanction Neece because he has done nothing wrong. Get over your grudge with Neece, so he didn't want to pay you. Maybe its because Neece is a great judge of character and he sees you're a loon.
