TWO READERS HELP TO DEVELOP STORY ON BROWNSVILLE AND TRADE

"Brownsville/Matamoros is promoted as the fastest port of entry and most historic trade corridor between U.S. and Mexico. The strategic advantages of Brownsville and Matamoros as a port of entry include six modes of transportation, an overweight truck corridor, more than 500 international transportation companies, 35 U.S. licensed customs brokers, 3.5 million square feet of warehouse space, one of three international rail road crossings in Texas, and the only port of entry with foreign trade zones located at the airport, seaport and industrial park areas."

It is so sad our leadership is so  clueless about the airport and its potential as an economic engine.  To both readers thanks for the heads up on this link.

Sir, Pan American had an independent logistics group that did all their work for them in Mexico. They had a Mexican Unit that went by cargo usa and theyre from here in Brownsville and not from houston, where the pan am people were from...If any one has plans and the know how that pan am had, it would have to be them..Just to let you know, Iam sure they can assist in giving some suggestions to our leaders...Thank you
