I say we boycott any business tied to the Tea Party Nation.  If you people are so proud of the Tea Party Nation start a web page listing your business as refusing to hire new employees, and see how we the people react - pay attention - small businesses work for the consumers because without us you do not exist.

TEA Party Nation activist Melissa Brookstone in a message to the members calls for hiring boycott.

"I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped. "

The entire text is below.

Brookstone writes:

“I’m on strike!” - Ellis Wyatt, from the end of the movie "Atlas Shrugged, Part 1", based on the novel by Ayn Rand

Resolved that: The Obama administration and the Democrat-controlled Senate, in alliance with a global Progressive socialist movement, have participated in what appears to be a globalist socialist agenda of redistribution of wealth, and the waging of class warfare against our constitutional republic's heritage of individual rights, free market capitalism, and indeed our Constitution itself, with the ultimate goal of collapsing the U.S. economy and globalizing us into socialism.

Resolved that: President Obama has seized what amount to dictatorial powers to bypass our Congress, and that because the Congress is controlled by a Progressive socialist Senate that will not impeach one of their kind, they have allowed this and yielded what are rightfully congressional powers to this new dictator.

Resolved that: By their agenda and actions, those in our government who swore oaths to protect and defend our Constitution have committed treason against the United States.

Resolved that: The current administration and Democrat majority in the Senate, in conjunction with Progressive socialists from all around the country, especially those from Hollywood and the left leaning news media ( Indeed, most of the news media. ) have worked in unison to advance an anti-business, an anti-free market, and an anti-capitalist ( anti-individual rights and property ownership ) agenda.

Resolved that: These same factions expect that, by carrying out a radical anti-business agenda, which includes the passage and inflicting of Obama"Care" on our nation, class warfare and redistribution of wealth, and expanding the government, while killing businesses in this country with an environment hostile to business, including excessive regulations ( the average business must now spend about $11,700 per year per employee to comply with government regulations! ), and by borrowing and wasting more money than has been spent in the entire previous existence of our republic, that they will "create jobs", when in fact all they have "created" have been government jobs that consume wealth, and don't "create" it.

Resolved that: Our President, the Democrats-Socialists, most of the media, and most of those from Hollywood, have now encouraged and supported "Occupy" demonstrations in our streets, which are now being perpetrated across the globe, and which are being populated by various marxists, socialists and even communists, and are protesting against business, private property ownership and capitalism, something I thought I'd never see in my country, in my lifetime.

I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.

I hereby declare that my job creation potential is now ceased.

“I’m on strike!”
I think she must be mixing kool aid with her tea as sweetener because her tea has become so bitter she herself can no longer stand it.
The moronic teabaggers need to follower her message and we the people can then stop doing business with any moron who is refusing to hire people.  Pay attention morons - without consumers small businesses do not exist.  Consumers do not shop when they do not have a job.
It is clear the Tea Party Nation has gone over the deep end.
According to these idiots when a government employee buys a home or car it does not contribute to the wealth of corporate America.  They cannot be this stupid - but they can be this dishonest.

It's her money. She can refuse to use her money to hire people. It's not our place to force anyone to spend their money and costs to hire people.

BobbyWC said...

Exactly where am I forcing her to do anything? - I am saying I have the right to not spend my money in businesses who are refusing to hire as part of this protest

This is typical Teabagger bullshit - they have the right to protest but the Occupy Wallstreet do not.

the Teabaggers have the right to boycott hiring, but we the people do not have the right to boycott their businesses.

the Teabaggers on a good day prove themselves to be wannebee Banana Republic dictators determined to take away everyone's freedom who does not submit.

The Teabaggers are anti-American and determined to destroy our freedoms -

It is my right to not spend my money at businesses run by Teabaggers - I will exercise that right notwithstanding your objection to same

Notwithstanding the teabaggers objection to same - we still have some freedoms left in this country and We the People will exercise those Freedoms

I am SO GLAD that you are SO UNBIASED about the Tea Party. So standing up for what you believe in is wrong. Is allowing the US Government to violate the Constitution and standing agianst it wrong. ObamaCare is the worst of government intrusion into our lives. Where in the US Constitution does it say the US Government can force you to buy something you do not want. The Tea Party is not for me, but your bias towards them is a typical far left knee jerk. We as a nation are facing a 105 trillion unfunded mandate over the next 40 years just to fund Medicare and SS. The system needs to be fixed and why I dont agree with most of their ideas, at least there is someone telling people about whats coming.

Not that reality matters to you, but I have opposed the part of Obamacare which mandates everyone buy private insurance - second I have gone after moveon and teh daily kos

My issue in this post is simple - if they want to boycott hiring we can boycott their companies -

I used this obvious right of ours to point out the obvious - their idea is stupid - without the consumer they have no business

But somehow the Occupy Wall Street people and me wanting to oppose the Teabaggers makes us wrong

You call all of these things unconstitutional but the Supreme Court has yet to agree with you - using the constitutional as a weapon to justify your views is just cowardly - where in the constitution does it say teh federal government can regulate marriage - but it does and the Teabaggers are no where to be found denouncing what is clearly a black and white intrusion by the federal government into my private life.

To say say that the TEA Party is "anti-American and determined to destroy our freedoms -" is a totally ignorant statement. Looks to me like you pulled that out of your own butt because there is no basis in fact for that observation. You don't like the conservative mindset so you deem it anti-American. Just say you don't agree and drop it. Using your example, almost every person at a TEA Party rally would agree that the Fed has no business in your marriage. Most all conservatives support states rights and could really care less if you "marry" another man, a goat or a sheep. They just don't want to see you kissing your goat in public and want it called what it is- a civil union. You don't think we are taxed enough already? You don't see a problem with almost 50% of folks on some kind of public assistance - welfare program?

Where in the federal constitution does it say the federal government has the right to regulate marriage - period - where in the constitution does it say you get to define the meaning of a word and my speech in how I use that word

All of this is anti-American - calling on businesses to stop hiring when that hiring is key to the recovery of our nation's economy is anti American - it does not serve the nation or the people

The Tea Party is not about freedom - it is about pushing their agenda on teh nation or else - American has never tolerated such a movement and I predict in 2012 its power will be little if any

"...According to these idiots when a government employee buys a home or car it does not contribute to the wealth of corporate America..."
Not really because government employees i.e. TAX DOLLAR EMPLOYEES GET PAID WITH MY TAX MONEY.
You see TAX DOLLAR EMPLOYEES are not producers, they just TAKERS-TAX DOLLAR TAKERS.

BobbyWC said...

Your lack of knowledge about how the economy works is surreal. So according to you the people who work at GM or Ford receive no benefit when a government employee buys a vehicle - the worker at Walmart receives no benefit when a government employee spends their money at Walmart

The Teabaggers will fail because their ignorance becomes increasing apparent to the masses on a daily basis.

Bobby my boy, when your only defense is ..."you get to define the meaning of a word and my speech in how I use that word"... you have lost the arguement. Words mean things, and you can't change the meaning to spin it your way. This "ain't" Burger King and you "ain't" Merriam Webster. As for your prediction about the power of the TEA Party in the upcoming election, you best go back and take another hit off the water are dreaming. The Republicans have the ability to take all three this election. It is theirs to lose....and that is your best bet at this time. As for the folks calling on businesses to stop hiring....why is it that you have all these free speech rights and they don't? Want to talk "Anti-American"...look at the Obama Administration. There are so many examples I can't list them all, but just the waste of money on green energy would fill this blog. What would the 1 TRILLION dollars we lost on 2 solar companies in the last few days done for your economy if applied correctly? Get your head out Bobby , the sun is shining.

BobbyWC said...

Do you want to source this so called $2 trillin - I doubt it -

it is like the trillion you idiots want the people to believe it cost to kill Gadhafi - you cannot source it but you think if you post it to the internet it becomes facts - it is your delusions which have you blind to your flank -

the estimated cost is about a billion and the reality is the real cost is significantly less

These numbers include the salaries of the servicemembers which the taxpayers would have paid one way or the other. The refueling planes fly with or without a mission - they are always in training

But if you understand anything about anything you would understand this false accounting - the military must bill it to training or to a mission - but the money is the same

there is additional costs but no where near 1 billion

If you new anything about language, which you do not - culture defines words - not overnments - the meaning of words constantly change - for example when the King James Bible was written efeminate meant cowardly not gay - culture changed the meaning of the word - but this does not change the meaning of the word when it was originally used in the King James Bible.

Unless you are prepared to arrest people for saying they are married you have noting - culture has already changed the meaning of the word

You cannot force grandma to tell her friends he grandson is in a civil union - again unless you are going to arrest grandma for using the word marriage then this battle is lost

In an unprecedent move in history you teabaggers want the government to regulate our speech because you hate the fact society is doing what it does - it defines words based on current usage

The battle over the meaning of the word marriage is an example of extreme tyranny by the false right

Believe it or not, she now sees herself as the victim!! How dare people force her to be accountable, force her to own her words, and force her to take responsibility for what she advocates and believes! For Melissa the Martyr, and for the Tea Party Nation, only one side is allowed to vilify, demonize, denigrate, attack, threaten and dehumanize their opponents. Read about poor Melissa the Martyr >
