JUST FOR GOOD MEASURE

A nickle to who ever can tell me why I include the "Have a Nice Day."

Oh, McHale has had a lucid moment and posted a pretty good discussion on Fly Frontera vs. development of downtown.  I like it because it allows for a valid discussion of where the money should go.  I would like to see the mayoral candidates discuss these options.  The money is clearly better used for a multi-level garage downtown and as incentive money for development of businesses.

I've got nothing today guys. My back surgery failed - they are trying to get me in for an emergency MRI so my doctor will have confirmation the back surgery failed, before I see him next week. He has also scheduled me for another caudal raz to remove the adhesion caused by the leaking fluid. These procedures work every time.

My doctor is mad as hell the VA with its game playing denied me the back brace to protect his surgery. The good news is he is working with the right people to insure this discrimination against Valley veterans ends. The person who oversees almost all the VA facilities in Texas is on it and has made it clear to the chief administrator in San Antonio that this discrimination will end and end now. He is going to use my failed back surgery as evidence that the discriminatory policy is not only hurting Valley veterans financially, but causing needless medical problems.

Andropose - It is real. Thursday last I had my 5th testosterone shot over a 10 week period. 90% of the hot flashes are gone - there is finally a sense of feeling better. The fatigue is improving. Guys if you have hot flashes get checked. There are other options to injections - but in my case based on all of the variables injections were my best option.

Vitamin D Deficiency Now that I am back to weekly treatment 100% of the medical problems associated with this hormonal deficiency are resolved.

With the testosterone treatment going well, the vitamin D issue finally fixed, once we get the back done I  will be back to 100% - back at the gym, and back to working 10-12 hours a day.  I see this all happening by September - I am very much looking forward to not being sick.

Guys if a doctor dismisses you see  another doctor.  It took me 10 years at the VA, and a near drowning before I finally saw a doctor who believed me.  It took him no time at all to see the adhesions on the spine and in time the tear in the dura.  It was this doctor through a cervical spine MRI he ordered that put me down the path of discovering the pituitary problems which allowed for the diagnose of andropose and vitamin D deficiency.  For years I just suffered with hot flashes and increased fatigue.

My point is - you know your body.  I was a gym rat - a workaholic and then just started getting sicker and sicker - gym rats and workaholics do not just decide "I want to be sick."  But I was dismissed by doctor after doctor.  Too many doctors still practice out of their medical school textbooks - unfortunately the body has not bothered to read those text books.

No one knows your body better than you - if you know by nature you are very active and then all of a sudden are not active - you are sick and do not allow some quack doctor to tell you otherwise.  Just keep on looking and you will eventually find a doctor who understands just because they do not know the answer does not mean you are not sick.

But anyway - on the path I am on - I should be full speed ahead again by September and am very happy with the prognosis and my future of going back to being a gym rat and workaholic.

Guys, I just saw I had a voice mail from yesterday - it was about the formation of a PAC related to the COB election.

If the caller would call me again - I want permission to announce the PAC and any web page you may have set up as part of that PAC

The money probably would be better used for a downtown parking garage, but does the parking situation warrant it? I don't disagree with using the money for business development, though.

I hope you feel better.

Will the PAC takes sides or endorse in all, some, or none of the races?
