THE CIRCUS CONTINUES. MRS. CATY PRESAS-GARCIA WILL GO DOWN AS THE WORST BOARD MEMBER OF ALL TIME. FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE BISD DISTRICT, MRS. CATY PRESAS-GARCIA SHOULD STEP DOWN.

Caty, save yourself the embarrassment of being removed from the board. Step down and save what little dignity you may have for the sake of your boys! Don't just step down as board president; resign from the board and go back to being a mother!

I've never seen an agenda item worded as "the obvious conflict of interest wherein they share the same attorney." It is OBVIOUS an attorney didn't write this agenda item, right Joe?

Not that treality matters to a moron, but Joe Colunga has more training in righting than lawyers.

Further, I find it redundant and it is not how a lawyer would have written it

It has nothing to do with writing experience. Just because Colunga is old and teaches English at Taco Tech doesn't mean he has more experience than lawyers. Lawrence Tribe is an excellent writer and a lawyer. In this case it's about the sentiment in the agenda item. There is no need to start any phrase with such words as obvious in an agenda. It's the type of snippy tone you would find in a blog. Beyond that it is a conclusive statement made by one trustee without the as-of-yet support of the majority of the board. A talented writer could have found a way to say everything without saying it the way he did.

Talent??...On this board??...Wake up and get over yourself. Better yet, run for a public service position. Just more cowardly rock throwing from Brownsville's 'finest'.

So Colunbga is a bad guy for putting something on the agenda in such wording without knowing if he has support of the board - how do you know he does not have 4 votes?

Presas-garcia has failed twice in her efforts to remove Springston adn she posts it a 3rd Time and this is fine with you.

A writer (not righter - sorry - I get tired when I write) knows that when you write for an audience you write with an intent to send a message - hence the use of the word OBvious - you hate that it is obvious so you try to create a distraction around the word Obvious.

I expect between now and Tuesday Presas-garcia's mouth pieces will post endless pieces with what they call evidence while never producting one document - they hate the fact Brownsville will be watching and will see the evidence or lack thereof first hand.

On all of these issues - the truth will come out on Tuesday - people on both sides will need to live with the truth and all of the distractions posted on the internet will not change that truth

Maybe his candidate Presas should teach Colunga and all of us how to write. Hahaha!!!

Yes, the word obvious is very prejudicial in nature and an agenda item should not be written in such matter. But it goes way beyound that now! The public needs to get the facts! The problem is that we will have a difficult time deciding which of the "facts" are fiction or non-fiction. We have been "fooled" so many times that it is very difficult to trust anybody anymore.
But if you show up at the meeting, they will be able to see the number of people who are concerned. They will probably request to go behind closed doors on various agenda items, but there must be a vote to decide whether or not to take it behind closed doors. Let us hope that we have 4 people who have a conscience and will want to allow us to hear and see all that goes on. Yes, they come out of executive session and they vote with "I move that we accept and/or deny as discussed in executive session and nothing is said about the conclusions. We then have to run to the blogs and learn what actually took place! Isn't that sad??? Why do we allow this to be done to us! Stand up and be counted!

Bobby's sock puppets, trying to corner someone for not stating any opinion on Caty firing Springston is weak. I can play same game too. So you have an opinion on BISD and yet say nothing on starvation in Africa. Why do you condone genocide of the African people by the First World that ignores their suffering?

Do YOU know if Colunga the Great Righter of Our Time has the four votes? Does he have a walking quorum? If he loses the vote, does that mean the alleged conflict of interest wasn't so obvious? Everything is so black and white or love-hate with you. Hate is just another distraction. But I guess it's okay when you do it. So you know, BISD does not interest me in the slightest. I see it consumes your blog. Move on to other topics, will ya?

Question for you,Bobby? Who writes or reviews the agenda items before they are printed out to the public. Besides the "obvious" word in #13, did you notice that on Consent Agenda IX A, they have stated that "services are to be rendered subject to District's needs and funding. All Mr. Tegarden is asking for is permission to take one of his outstanding students to the national meeting in Missouri. What services are they talking about? Funding available? If we have funds to pay for Cata's lawyer and continue to build new infrastructure even in this crunch, but we can not afford to send a deserving students and his hard-working teacher to a national event? Isn't that what education is all about? Maybe not for BISD? I am hoping that last statement on the agenda item was a "computer error."

It is my understanding that a board member can write their own agenda item - some may come from the administration - but everything is reviewed by counsel before it is psoted

Historically the board president and the superintendent write the agenda together. I understand that there is another administrator sitting in on these meetings also since CPG became the board president.

Hey Bobby, it they do not want to read what you blog, tell them to pick another blog. NO?
