"MR. CLEAN" BRETT SPRINGSTON MOPS FLOOR WITH THE CORRUPT 4

The BV will post before noon - back to bed - just got up for the dogs. I am on only 4 hours sleep.

THOMPSON HORTON CONTINUES MALPRACTICE IN SUPPORT OF PRESAS-GARCIA

When Arturo Michel took the job as BISD’s counsel he took his genitalia, such as it is, and put it in a very small pill box and handed it to Presas-Garcia. He sat there last night and allowed her to mislead the people about whether or not her fiduciary duties to the district were properly vetted before John Barr was hired. They were not, which is why ACE is still investigating. There is a malpractice coming and Thompson Horton will be paying the damages.

On this issue, the insurance carrier, ACE, remains investigating whether or not John Barr will remain Presas-Garcia’s attorney. They know that if any compromise of the Healthsmart lawsuit occurs because of John Barr, ACE could find itself liable.

At this point no dismissal of the Healthsmart is possible. By law and the rules of ethics Presas-Garcia cannot vote on the matter. In fact she now has a legal duty to file with BISD a notice of conflict of interest as it relates to Healthsmart. The conflict is not between John Barr and BISD, it is between Presas-Garcia and BISD. In law you can build a Chinese wall around her to protect the district. This is what will end up happening. In law you can have a conflict of interest so long as the Chinese wall is built around the parties so that information is not shared. This is done by barring Presas-Garcia from having access to any information related to the Healthsmart lawsuit.

Side note:  yesterday Thompson Horton downloaded my posts on Quintanilla - no idea what it means - but we shall see.

DID ESCOBEDO, PRESAS-GARCIA, LONGORIA, AND SAAVEDRA PUT OUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY ON HOLD SO THAT ESCOBEDO’S BROTHER CAN HAVE A SECOND BITE AT THE SECURITY CONTRACT?

48. Recommend awarding Bid #11-094 Security Equipment Installation and Repairs for Alarm
and CCTV District-wide to several vendors. (Annual Bid)

This item was tabled after the corrupt 4 initially tried to have it denied. Longoria as Escobedo’s lapdog (how proud her eunuch husband must be - lapdog to a convicted felon and lapdog to Escobedo) came up with a stupid excuse to not vote on the contract. She wanted it rebid for better technology. She had no idea what was in the contract, what was in the bid or how a cluster contract works. It was explained to her over and over again and all she could do is sit there and drool.

After Longoria, Presas-Garcia and Saavedra could not overcome the fact the police chief was representing the technology being bought is state of the art Escobedo finally spoke up. This guy is so corrupt it boggles my mind.

He wants the contract for his brother - proof - under the rules he had to abstain on the vote because of the conflict of interest with his brother. Based on his abstention this is a reasonable conclusion.  Further, numerous sources have him teaching safety at his brother’s gun range. He is fighting for a contract not only for his brother, but his boss.

In the end every vendor wanting to do business with BISD was sent a clear message - all contracts will go through Pat Lehmann and Enrique Escobedo. I will work with the vendor to file the proper protest with BISD.  All vendors need to know BISD is open for business and going through Pat Lehmann or Enrique Escobedo is the fastest way to insure you do no get contracts with BISD

Let’s be clear - Saavedra, Longoria, and Presas-Garcia had no problem going along with Escobedo even if it meant putting the security of our children at risk. The best part is when they turned to Escobedo for his vote to fire Springston he refused. These woman are so stupid they will continue to be his lapdog, and he will continue to protect Springston.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

This morning’s Herald article reads like - they went into the meeting and everyone came out happy - Another classic Gary Long whitewash. You do not spend 3 hours and 15 minutes in executive session trying to fire the superintendent and come out friends.

They took an ass whipping and lost. It is going to be down hill from here for the corrupt 4.  Patrick Hammes made it known the employees are not going to tolerate the corrupt 4 and will fight.  Brett Springston did what a good super does - he brought the employees into the process.  He geared up the Employee Benefits Committee (EBC).  Why does Escobedo, Presas-Garcia, Longoria and Saavedra want to take control away from the employees on the EBC and give it to Bill Rusteberg on the iinsurance ad hoc committee?  They can trust Bill Rusteberg to play their games, which is why he was appointed to the iinsurance ad hoc committee.  EBC knows who he is and will fight tooth and nail to insure Rusteberg becomes the insurance ad hoc committees' poison.  With Bill Rusteberg on the committee the insurance ad hoc committee is dead on arrival as far as the employees are concerned.

Okay guys, I am real tired -
More tomorrow

I value your insight and "fair & balanced & facts-only" reporting.
Run for the board. BISD needs brains.

These idiots want me to publish through claims they know what happened in executive session. The reality is no one should be telling their convicted friends what happened in executive session.

The only thing I know for sure is, I was told Escobedo told numerous people he would not support the vote, and Presas-garcia was royaly pissed that Arturo Michel told the Herald the truth that it was she who put the issue on the agenda at the request of several members.

This morning I received a phone call telling me Presas-Garcia was telling people this morning that the matter failed because they all cowarded at the last minute and she did not have the support.

What is clear is either their attorney is lying of Presas-garcia is lying - I think Brownsville knows who the liar is - Presas-Garcia

For argument's sake, let's say Escobedo is not the one who caved - although he has come to Springston's defense every time, then Escobedo hung himself with Springston and Springston no longer owes him

I have said before Saavedra and Escobedo are playing Presas-Garcia and Longoria - maybe it was just another play by Escobedo and Saavedra

What do you know about today's BISD's Budget Meeting?? Will BISD cut jobs on it's WORST case scenario plan? How many?

If you want to know what they have planned you should go to the meeting. That way you do not have to listen to some one elses spin and the facts. It is an open meeting. They will be presenting three scenarios. No one know at this time which one will be necessary.

Two organizations were represented, AOBE and another small one. To the best of my knowledge I was the only one that was not an employee of BISD. The administration did a very good job of explaining the 3 senarios and there is a list of other items that may be included, but it will depend on some of the proposed legislation. The worst case senario did include a RIF reduction in force and it would include probationary teachers around 250 teachers @ $45,000 would save $11,250,000. The board members stressed that they did not want to lay teachers off. As I stated there was a lot of information. At the very end substitutes came up, BISD has spent as of today well over 3 million this year. They did not have the break down as to sick leave, inservice, and coaches out, but for FRIDAY they have over 300 teachers out and that info was taken right before the meeting at 5:30.
