THE TRIAL CONTINUES, BUT CHAOS RULES IN THE CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

Without getting into the merits of Mayor Ahumada's admission he made a mistake, the real question at this point is, why has there been a cover up as to how the mayor came into possession of the check. That investigation has gone silent. Why? If there is a verdict today, I will then comment on the merits of the Mayor's defense, and only then.

The other day while in court Assistant City Attorney Chosy came up to me crying victim. He claims Mark Sossi has no control over his decisions, and if I have a problem with how he is directing Eileen Leeds to handle my litigation against the city I should take it up with him. It was like watching a 3 year old throw a temper tantrum in the grocery store. Eileen Leeds was clearly embarrassed for herself and the city.

Chosy was so upset he demanded I take his business card so that I spell his name correctly.

Well here is a reality for your Chosy you are nothing more than Sossi's marinero. A sloppy marinero at that. Chosy you are the assistant city attorney which means you answer to Sossi. The buck stops with Sossi not you the flunky. Maybe it is time the City Commission takes Sossi to the wood shed and demand to know why according to you Chosy, you Chosy are running the show and not Sossi.

So the question is who is in charge of the City Attorney's office, the marinero Chosy, or Sossi, the unethical lawyer, or better yet no one.

This is typical behavior of clowns that run city entities.City,BISD,etc.etc.
They can never take the heat but they can sure dish it out. This behavior is laughable and sophomoric.
HOPE YOU DIDN'T TAKE GERM INFESTED CARD BECAUSE THAT BEHAVIOR IS CONTAGIOUS.

Re: Our discussion of Obama's unilateral decision to end the missle defense plan in Eastern Europe.

If memory serves me, you had indicated that time would tell if the decision was a fool's errand. Much of that determination would be made by Russia's furture actions, especially their assistance with Iran.

Well. That time is today. Obama jettisoned our allies to beg the Russians for help with Iran, contrary to his ealier policy statements. He just pronounced that Iran had 2 weeks to allow for UN inspectors into their nuke facilities. Putin tells us not only to not threaten Iran, but to back off the sanctions idea entirely. We in the industry call this being "cock blocked".

To top it off, Putin also reasserted Russia's right to act unilaterall y with nukes which is a direct rejection of Obama's plan for more nuke reduction agreements.

They smelled weakness and they are pouncing. Jimmy Carter must be proud.

Sorry for the late approval of the comments, I have been in meetings all day.

On the Russia issue, you may be right. If you are we are royally screwed. I need time to see what is happening behind the scenes. But for now I must agree by appearance Russia has failed us on this one.

On the card joke - it took me a second to get the joke - good one.

On the PTA issue and TEA - I agree that any greater involvement by the NEA would be bad - but a reconfigured PTA could limit the iinfluence of the unions. I just believe the teachers and parents working together in some formal setting can better direct the education of the children

WTF where did all that PTA bullshit come from?

Guess we'll know by tommorrow -

OCTOBER 1, 2009
US President Barack Obama says Iran must give UN inspectors "unfettered access" to its second uranium enrichment facility within two weeks.
Speaking after multi-party talks with Iran in Geneva, Mr Obama said the US' patience was "not unlimited".

October 14, 2009 – (That is 13 days after Obama’s ‘2 week’ deadline) - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin warned major powers on Wednesday against intimidating Iran and said talk of sanctions against the Islamic Republic over its nuclear programme was "premature". "There is no need to frighten the Iranians," Putin told reporters in Beijing after a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

You are making a comment on the Mayors case you are either stupid like other public officials or believe that your above all that falls below.

I obviously hit someone's soft spot. I did not comment on the merits of the evidence in the mayor's case. The mayor in his testimoney admitted he made a mistake and that he deposited the check. A comment would be me stating what I feel about the testimony, I have not done that.

As to the cover-up, that has nothing to do with the Mayor - he has admitted to deposting the check - what I and everyone else wants to know is - how did this screw up happen?

Well, today is the 15th and zilch.
They are laughing at us.

You can't make these bold pronouncements and then not do anyhing.

Oh....I think I just defined Obama's Presidency.

It is fair to say that when it comes to Iran we are now appearing very weak. This will make us appear even weaker in the eyes of Russia. If Obama fails to increase the troops in Afgan as recommended we will appear incredibly week.
