HERALD CONTINUES WITH BISD COVER-UP, AND SOTOMAYOR CONFIRMATION REVEALS REALITY IN LATINO DIVIDE

I have spent the morning pondering how to respond to the lack of information provided by the Herald after the first day of the Gonzales hearings. We all know they could have posted the allegations. The fact they did not tells us the Herald has decided to keep the people in the dark

SOTOMAYOR CONFIRMATION REVEALING

All four Senators from Arizona and Texas are voting against confirmation. Both states are heavily Latino. What do these four Senators know which the news media seems to not know? Not all Latino's are united based on this made up label. Mexican Americans have little in common with Puerto Ricans. The Mexican American community is not going to take the no votes as a snub. It simply does not concern them.

Why wonder how to respond about second-hand information? Don't you have the courage to cover the hearing in person? Prove you can do a better job than Gary Long and the Herald. You can do it, Sideliner.

It had been my intent to cover the hearings, but I had to go to SA to have needles placed inside my spine to help relieve pain caused by a damaged nerve

Just one of those things

Now that the hearings are over, and there is almost nothing in the Herald. Does Gonzales have a chance?

Since I have no idea what happened at the hearings I have no idea.
